He would drift in constantly if he was to play from the right. No way he would have given us width or help out the wingback enough to be worth the outlay. On top of that he is so self-obsessed that he released a fecking documentary to tell people he would stay in Madrid.
Well we need world class players and would rather have Griezmann than Lukaku and Mata atm, even Sanchez.

Also the french connection would be awesome.

Well that couldn't have gone much better. We rung the changes, six in all, clearly with an eye on PSG on Tuesday, but we still ran out very comfortable winners. Fulham started lively but then we took complete control of the game once Pogba scored the opening goal after 14 minutes. Martial then scored a wonderful solo goal to celebrate his contract extension.

In the second-half Fulham looked a beaten side and showed no belief in being able to mount a comeback. We in turn took our foot off the gas somewhat but still extended our lead to 3:0 as Pogba scored his second from the penalty spot.

We are now fourth, and if City beat Chelsea tomorrow we will stay there. We were 11 points behind fourth when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over 10 league games ago. What an incredible turn around.

    Now for PSG...

    Fulham 0:1 Man Utd - Pogba (14')

    Fulham 0:2 Man Utd - Martial (23')

Fulham 0:3 Man Utd - Pogba (65' pen)

Positionally awful, lack of energy, horrendous control of the ball; against one of the worst defences in the league. Rom has an absolute stinker today.

Thankfully we're not reliant on him scoring, because I'm not sure how many games we'd win if we were.

Kjetil Jansrud, Aksel Lund Svindal and Manchester United winning on the same day

Another one from Lukaku's allergy to bouncing balls collection.

Milder debilitating issue when the ball is on the ground and mortal peril when it is in the air,

Proper United today.Warming to the notion of Ole becoming our permanent manager.

Wasn't Mitrovic been booked in the first half?

Lukaku wasn't that bad, his link up play was quite good to be honest. Proper Target man play there.

Is there a rule that says you must give a yellow to both players in a confrontation regardless of situation, or is it just a cop-out way for a ref to resolve tension without winding either team up?
A cop out . Game nearly over , have a word move on

From what I remember, if someone gets a red for violent conduct (3 games), but has already had a red earlier in then season, it adds a game .. so the 2nd red would mean a 3+1 game suspension.
Not sure if it applies for accumulated yellows.
Ooh sorry I thought you meant accumulated yellows.

You love to moan. You were complaining Pogba doesn’t look at it about 8 minutes into the game

Can’t being all the moaning in here, even when we’re good people whinge.
I think you’re confusing me for someone else. Said nothing about Pogba.

We could'nt have had an easier game before the big one on Tuesday, Lukaku was the only negative today, very poor performance, Pogba was easily the MOM but I think Smalling deserves a mention after being out for a while.

Lukaku wasn't that bad, his link up play was quite good to be honest. Proper Target man play there.
Target man? Well I suppose it’s not a moving target so makes it a bit easier . But come on he was anonymous today.

Fulham were pretty awful after the first ten minutes. If I was a fan of Fulham I’d be bitterly disappointed with the lack of effort, but I’m not complaining.
On paper before the match with the team put out I was a bit worried about this game, but Utd really played well, great opening goals by Pogba and Martial, great skill running with the ball, not just relying on his speed and a super finish.
Can’t wait for the Paris match now.
