Television From - TV Series | Season 3 airs September 22 - Episode 6 out now

Meh again. A bit better but still lacking tremendously.
Better than previous episodes but I still felt a bit meh overall. I'm tired of the Fatima storyline, honestly.
”ooh I can’t remember. I can’t remember. Here’s multiple episodes about a fecking ventriloquist dummy. I can’t remember. I don’t know where I was. Oh wait yeah shit I was here and I remember what this kid said verbatim nvm lol
Victor, who is so important a character, has essentially spent the entire season trying to remember something he finally has 8 episodes in. It really feels like they don't have enough to keep this going and hence they keep dragging the reveals. We really didn't need to see Victor go into the basement and play fort and what not for this long. So frustrating.

That’s basically what it is now. 40 minutes of boring melodrama followed by a small and (so far) ultimately insignificant reveal. And they’re so spaced out throughout the season that if you actually analyse specific storylines, some of these people have been going in circles until it’s time for their character to actually do something.

at least we know who threw the rope to Boyd.

We know now that the town started with the kids, and that they were likely sacrificed.

We know that whatever is in Fatima isn’t human

We know that Jim is a cnut

We know that Boyd is a giant hypocrite

We know that Elgin is fecking mental

I think we knew all of these already
Expecting next weeks episode to be a banger though
They do pull out all stops for the final few episodes to keep everyone engaged for the next season.

And who threw the rope to boyd is like. Ok cool I guess? Wasn’t one I was desperate to be answered.

The script for the whole season was leaked apparently and some annoying fecked posted a spoiler on Reddit (in fact, it’s riddled with them),

Had something annoying spoilt for me but not too much I guess. It reveals feck all as well.

I see a lot of Redditers and those on Twitter treating this as a massive moment but, it just felt so meh to me too? I think the only point of the caves was the whole bit about time travelling. I find it hard to believe the rope dropping to be of any actual use to the plotline in itself.

So do they or do they not answer any of the major questions?

What I read answers feck all really, but it’ll come with a bit of a shock factor at least.

Those guys take nerdiness to the next level. They're posting theory after theory, and citing this source and that story, and why they tie in to the From mystery. Go outside and touch grass ffs.

Has anyone watched Teacup? It's been described as "From-like", but I've not really seen much about it.

It's bollocks imo. Starts off interesting for a couple of episodes and then the whole mystery is pretty much revealed quickly.

Basically, it's the opposite of the pacing in From.

I think I gave up at episode 6, especially because I can't see it being popular enough to get renewed.

Only on Episode Five - but this is brilliant television. Hampered by some awful acting (in particular Juliet and her family) but I think they do a great job. I know some people want questions answered - but we have had a lot answered already. (The symbol, where the creatures go in the day, what happened in Victor’s past, the bracelets (sort of).

If I had to guess, I’d say this is something to do with a group of psychic kids who were being experimented on by a group of “normal” to people. They were relatively in control until one day a kid got too powerful and escaped and decided to punish the humans in his life. Hence the childish nature of the town. (Monsters that come out at night, literal giant spiders, not being able to escape). Some of the other kids are trapped but able to “help” in some way by bringing in certain people who might be able to help free the kids. Latent telepathy (Elgin, Juliet, Boyd). Each group that enters seems to have some “special” people.

Maybe the reason the weird older guy has survived so long is the malevolent leader of the kids has taken a liking to him for some reason.

Just my gut instinct on the overarching plot.
