Froch Vs Groves 2

Yeah me too, its hilarious when he [Froch] asks him a question and he can't/won't answer so he just literally stares at him

I think it makes him look a bit simple
It's like someone took out the AA batteries out of his back

Can't believe my mate managed to get us tickets to this. The build up has been fantastic, really not sure who's going to win but Froch seems to be pretty calm and confident. If he can withstand the first few rounds then he will probably end up winning in the latter rounds. Groves is a top fighter and could definitely get the knock out but overall Froch should have the experience to pull off the win.

Extremely excited about this now, pretty decent undercard too so should be a good night of boxing even for a casual fan like me.
I'm seeing and hearing a lot of people backing Froch to win which is understandable as he had Groves' legs wobbling a little during the previous fight, hence why it was stopped, and you could say he only has to learn from the mistake that led to him being floored early on, whereas Groves probably has a lot more work to do.
I just hope it's a good fight, and lasts at least half the scheduled distance as I think the build-up and crowd, both on television and at the stadium, deserve it!

zunox for the last few weeks has only been showing American sports (usually four a day when I check their schedule)

Really fancy Froch this time. He probably would have still won the first fight if it wasn't stopped early too. Think he'll stop Groves properly this time.

I was watching UK racing last week, doesn't seem to have much up right now except Brazil v Qatar youth.

 Yeah... and England 'probably' would have knocked out Argentina if Diego didn't think it was a basketball or if the ref didn't let him off. Come on now, it was the wrong decision as said by IBF, Carls belt people, and all that stands is that Groves was better 90% of the fight as well as put him on his arse. Anything else, for either fighter is just pure speculation.

All these Nostradamus people on Froch's side seem to over exaggerate the so called trouble Carl had him in. Anyone would would think Groves wasn't allowed any bad time/rounds as well.

Just hope justice is served this time.

Just watched that video, Froch trying too hard, Groves does look knackered though, not his usual self. Froch still biting his bottom lip a lot to let the tension escape, despite this act but he can't do the Groves style troller routine very well, don't think he's smart enough for it. Chewing gum at the start as well. If you watch the original Ringside Froch was very similar but the act wasn't coming off too well, but even more so when both men were interviewed stood up by Johnny after some press conference for the first fight, Carl was trying his calm act and saying how he'd knock the glass jaw out. He ain't fooling me, no matter who he's been to see. In the ring though, anything goes on the night.

I'm a Groves fan, and while I believe he's a better boxer, I think Froch has too much for him. He's too powerful and his chin is too strong, despite going down in the first against Groves (still came back after taking a huge shot). Reckon it could be like the Froch-Bute fight.

I was looking at a schedule on the website that hadn't been updated for a couple weeks (only had American sports scheduled), my mistake.

Got a £20 bet that Froch wins, I hope he batters him. Looking forward to this it's all set up to be a classic.

Looking forward to this. The first fight was a cracker and while it's not on the same level as Eubank-Benn, it's still a massive fight.

Not sure who's going to win but Froch seems more focused this time around. I've never been a fan of Carl due to his constant calling out of Calzaghe (who would have schooled him) and I wouldn't mind seeing Groves beat him later. Froch is slow and technically poor but you have to admire his chin, he can walk through some serious punishment.

Groves on points ....maybe!

Walk-ons at 9:45, fight starts at 10pm.

I hope its a double knockout.

I want Froch to end him, Groves comes across as a right twat.

I hope Groves wins but I think Froch will get the win.

Still a bit unsure if I will order this and watch in glorious HD or hope to find a stream. Would hate to spend £17 and have the fight end inside the first few rounds.

Before the interviews I preferred Froch because he seemed less arrogant, Groves came across as a mouthy scrote who deserved everything he got in the ring. Having watched the face to face 'gloves off' thing though, Froch is definitely the antagonistic WUM. I know it's all mind games but Groves actually had more class about the way he conducted himself imo.

So I'm pretty much neutral and I'll enjoy the fight. Once in a while a match comes along where the boxers genuinely dislike each other, often it's just for the media circus but here I can see a clear mutual resentment. These fights are always the best.

I guess I still prefer Froch a shade, but really I don't care who wins as long as it's a good scrap.

There's a good undercard.

I am hoping that Froch wins, least of all because he doesn't deserve for his career to be overshadowed by one defeat with retirement around the corner. For years he was defending his title against decent opponents without receiving much recognition, Groves can just wait his turn.

Some of the hype has been getting rather out of hand of course, i am almost positive that i heard Darren Gough claiming the last fight to be better than both of Froch's against Kessler.

I am reluctant to part with the PPV cash even at this late stage, however i don't want to rely on the radio commentary or some stream of dubious quality.

Full re run of the first fight on Sky Sports1 right now if anyone wants to watch it before the program starts.

The first fight was tremendous. For six rounds Groves beat the piss out of him.

Froch has a great chin but he's taken too much punishment over the years and it will catch up with him eventually. The Ray Mancini adage about your chin being like a piggy bank rings true. After enough shots, you're "full" and can't take any more. Even Ray Mercer's chin failed him eventually.

I want Froch to win, than retire. I would like it to be similar to the first fight, Grove giving a good showing of him self but Froch to dig deep and come back and win, but obviously more emphatic . Whatever you think of Froch, he deserves that final curtain call victory.

Froch has little chance against Ward, so a rematch would be pointless. However Groves has the tool to trouble him, as along he is not wiped out, Bute style, Grove - Ward is a fight i would like to see...

I come from fulham and George Groves is a local, I never met him but a lot of my friends know him well and they are all rooting for him to win but I just don't like the way he comes across.
I got 50 quid on Froch rounds 7-9.

This will be my last post in here until tomorrow as this has taken me about half hour.
Come on Carl.

Decided to order this on SBO, hopefully will be worth it!
