We're not Arsenal ffs
Think Chelsea want him as CF. Maybe he could be our sweeper keeper?Does Tuchel want to play him CB too? Now Chelsea makes sense
Hope Ter Stegen doesn’t get injured.
CF makes more sense - he’s too tall for a CB.Think Chelsea want him as CF. Maybe he could be our sweeper keeper?
There isn’t a calm day in charge for Xavi at Barcelona. After Frenkie de Jong’s fine game for Holland against Belgium, he said: “Here in the national team I have a position that suits me better.”
While at Barcelona he plays as an interior midfielder, De Jong plays as a pivote with the Netherlands. “I like being the first player to receive the ball from the defenders,” he said.
Can he take them to court after joining us?Doesn't really solve the problem of the club owing him money though
He doesn't have the balls to say Frenkie is no longer wanted."Please feck off or i'll play you at CB when you come off the bench"
He wants his 17m!!!
He wants his 17m!!!
He wants his 17m!!!
I suppose we agreed a fee but they didn't accept the offer until the wage issue is resolvedAh.
Didn't someone on here predict we'd be seeing this update this week? Round and round we go.
"We haven't agreed a fee"
I suppose we agreed a fee but they didn't accept the offer until the wage issue is resolved
It wouldn't really make sense to admit an accepted offer without explaining the reason he's not sold yet as well. They'd either have to admit agreeing a deal for a player who has no intention to leave or that they can't (or don't want to) pony up his paymentOr....laporta is just lying, again.
He wants his 17m!!!
He wants his 17m!!!
We’ve agreed a fee. I guess nothing will be formally accepted until he agrees to go - politics isn’t it.Hold on, he HAS accepted our bid.
He doesn't want to spill his guts.Hold on, he HAS accepted our bid.
They are paying him a huge salary and are already in trouble with FFP. They are going to these extremes precisely because they can't afford to not sell him. They are just trying to strongarm him into wanting out so it weakens his position in negotiating the $17m. I'm sure a compromise will be found eventually.Remember when folks kept saying FDJ had all the power.....yeah "Please feck off or i'll play you at CB when you come off the bench" and "please feck off and stop asking for money we don't owe you" kinda proves my point. They are going to make his life a misery.
Like a fecking tent pegDriving him into the ground - it’s a death by a thousand cuts to save that owed salary money.
He wants his 17m!!!
FDJ does have the power here, it’s just that he might not be shameless enough to use it. Barca can make a fool of him but if FDJ decided to ignore that and keep picking up the cash Barca couldn’t do a thing about it. I do suspect that he will leave and take a lesser payoff but that would be because he decided to accept it, not because Barca had some sort of master stroke.
Almost wish I didn’t have a vested interest in this one because another part of me would find it absolutely hilarious if Barca couldn’t register their new players
He wants his 17m!!!
Donny at CB would be incredible. Instant one touch back passes to De Gea for 90 minutes.Where are the Ajax fans and old boys crying free Frenkie? If we did this to VDB there'd be petitions to get old trafford nuked
"We need to clarify some aspects of his situation".
