Source within United camp revealed that Arnold and Murtough have been singing outside Frenkie de Jong's place.

You say you'd like to stay
But this is not your time
Go back, find your own way to future world

One day you'll live in happiness
With a heart that's full of joy
You'll say the world tomorrow without fear
The feeling of togetherness will I be at your side
You'll say you love your life and you'll know why

'Cause we all live in future world
A world that's full of love
Our future life will be glorious
Come with me to future world
Really wouldn't be surprised if that's the case... holding a boom box above their head whilst serenading him with charming music. Maybe a few roses on the floor too, or they might be doing it at night with candles too

Yeah this one is not happening at this point. It’s ok. The rebuild will take more than a year and I think the squad has just about enough to get top 4, which is the only aim for this season.
You were so close but you rang the bell. I’m afraid you don’t have what it takes to reach muppetdom. Try again next year

I wonder if ETH is thinking of playing martinez as the DM. Not saying that's good or bad think given I can't remember seeing him play. Given his size (or reported lack of it), he wouldn't be caught out as much as if he was a CB (and we do have a few of those) so I'm just wondering
Not back to this again. ETH literally shot that theory down

One of two things has to be true:

a) he’s interested in joining ETH at Old Trafford

b) ETH is a complete stalker moron that tells his board to chase a player for months despite the player telling him he’s not at all interested.

Maybe 3 ) the player is toying his former manager the whole summer

So guys, how many will ring the bell today? How many muppets are going to fall at the last hurdle? How many will fail to reach enlightenment and drop out?

We shall see...

Nah, can't see that to be fair. Usually players use United to get a new contract. De Jong doesn't want a new contract as he'd need to take a pay cut. If he's staying, he's staying on his current contract which is a middle finger in Barcas face haha

There's really nothing stopping de Jong saying "I'm not leaving Barca at all, I'll either work on acceptable terms with the club in an effort to help out or I'll stay on my current contract. Either way I'm staying, no questions asked"

But no, he's not said anything like that, probably because he knows his time is up there and he's just working on getting as much money as possible that he's owed

In honour of @Berbaclass and @Brownie85

Eshanul: Berbaclass, please, let's both of us stop trying to justify this whole thing and admit he's not coming. Walk away!

Berbaclass : Who are you talking to right now? Who is it you think you see? Do you know how many posts I make an hour here? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn't believe it. Do you know what would happen if I suddenly decided to stop posting in this thread? A thread big enough that it could be listed on the first page of Google goes belly up. Disappears! It ceases to exist without me. No, you clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not just a muppet, Ehsanul. I am the Master Muppet. A guy opens this thread, reads a few posts and goes about his day and you think that of me? No. I am the one who posts!

:D:D:lol::lol:

Bro, relax, my post is just for satirizing with opposites

Followed this thread and witnessed the birth of 2 muppets the caf has never seen the likes of.

hats off to @Berbaclass @Brownie85 ..

Now, I don't even care if De Jong comes or not, I am just following this thread for the muppetary alone.

We have two ball-winners in McT and Fred and you think we need to prioritize getting another one?
:wenger::lol:
Yeah, because they're world class at that

Yes, we need a DM the most, a Kante kind of player who goes the full distance and is positionally and technically capable of winning and holding a ball and building a connection to the attacking midfield.
If you think the answer to that is Fred, you must have missed a lot of our games last season....

The muppetry is strong in this thread. Confidence i hope is high. A few have rang the bell but most stay strong.

De Jong is coming my fellow muppets, not long now, believe

The minute you walked in the joint
I could see you were a man of distinction
A real big spender
Good lookin' so refined
Say, wouldn't you like to know what's goin' on in my mind?
So let me get right to the point
I don't pop my cork for every club I see
Hey big spender,
Spend a little cash on ME

Yeah, we knew that is the reason they want him gone.

The point is he wants to stay and Barca cannot do anything about that.

You suggested they are activating levers to keep him. They don’t want him. They can’t keep his wage.

He either reduces his contract (he won’t) or the club pays him (they might with the extra money) and he leaves.

Normally i would take this kind of article with a pinch of salt but i know for a fact that the entire generation of young Dutch footballers takes the advice of mediocre, late 2000s Aston Villa players very seriously.

Chelsea should really have gotten Richard Dunne or Stwphen Warnock in to convince De Ligt.
Don’t be ridiculous ! Agbonlahor was never mediocre!
