I'm sure we are. We've been hearing from the United side that they wanted the deal done by Friday. That has now passed so you would assume other targets are being spoken to also.

Fair point. However, by doing so he automatically alienates many United supporters. The stigma that he doesn't actually to be at United won't just disappear in the case he eventually will sign and things aren't going according to plan.
To me it's a clear sign the player is really committed to stay at Barcelona.

Your maths and info are incorrect. Its La liga only TV revenue not all TV revenue for one. 600m euros expected to be made by the firm was for the full 25% not 10%. Barca will receive 520m euros for the full 25% and will no longer sell the merch company

He is more creative, and gets in more advanced positions. He's rather an 8, which Frenkie isn't. Although being used as one at Barcelona.

I think he would be a good signing though, mind, but not what ETH needs in that position. He'd need to buy another CDM.

The deal will generate €267 million (£230 million) of revenue for this season’s accounts, with Sixth Street initially investing €207.5 million (£179 million) for its share of Barcelona’s TV rights.

Barcelona members agreed at an EGM on June 16 to sell up to 25 per cent of their La Liga TV rights to one or more investors.

The members also agreed to sell 49.9 per cent of the Barca Licensing and Merchandising (BLM) arm of the club, in order to raise capital to balance the books for the 2021-22 season.

The club said they hoped to make €600 million from both arrangements, in order to turn a profit and allow them to “make Barca a competitive team”.

Barcelona’s dire financial situation has been well-documented, with Laporta inheriting debts in excess of €1 billion from his predecessor Josep Maria Bartomeu.

No. They will raise 520m euros. Original aim was I believe 600-700m. However they raised more from TV rights and no longer want to sell the merch
