So who would his best partner be?

Wouldn't think Fred would be ideal because of his instinctive pressing nature, MCT, no.

There is no scenario where McTominay is the best option for United. He barely belongs in the PL.

 I'm so hyped. Another Dutch blonde. Hopefully we go for Malacia next and then we'll have a full Dutch contingent.

It varies on the brand, you can use this site to compare prices: -

I myself tend to use Tilda when I'm doing a curry, £4.40 it's a bit pricey for rice.
I'm just glad we hired a manager who would priorities a De jong over a Rice, Mourinho and Ole would have done it the other way for sure and that's why at their best they'll still fall short of Pep.

Barcelona's problem is financial fair play. It has been said here many times.
If United had the same FFP they would be in the same situation, they couldn't sign anything.
United would not have to use "economic levers" because they could make a capital increase as many other clubs have done.

and do you know why is Barca having FFP issues, while United does not have such issues?

Why is La Liga imposing a negative 144m euros on spending for Barcelona?

I think you know why, so, let's not act like Barcelona did not post losses of 481 million euros in 2020/2021, let's not act like Barcelona does not have a looming net debt of 1.3B in debts, even with "economic levers", Barca is still in deep deep waters, Laporta said last month when talking about the club's financial situation, "We knew it was bad, but not this bad".

I'm sure something is missing in the above, but £40m is about £36m more than £4m. There is nothing equivalent about this.

Maybe you are assuming a cost margin on the turnover, but not all turnover will have the same cost margin or indeed in some cases any margin impact, e.g. sponsorship deals may have no margin cost if covered by the sponsor and other costs are just BAU overheads with no marginal impact.

I was giving it a broad example, not trying to show off my MBA or give economic lessons.

Was using a general EBITDA of 10%, which a lot of UK companies work towards.

My point was being £4m saved is not to be sniffed at and could mean a lot more in revenue terms. But typically of this forum someone has to wade in and try to belittle and demonstrate how vastly superior they are.

Great news and hopefully gets wrapped up this week - and after this too you can imagine other players will be more open to joining. After signing a player like Frenkie the project is more in motion, if that makes sense, rather than false promises.

To be fair, Modric was a joke on here thanks to a poster called Scholsey. He was obsessed with him and said he was world class. Turned out he was proven completely right

:lol::lol::lol:

I forgot all about him!!

Amazingly good deal if this is it. It wasn't too long ago that "cheeky bid for Frenkie?" was just a joke on here after we learnt of Barca's financial distress. Really excited to see it turn to reality. Hopefully other deals can follow quickly now.

You lot don’t half drag transfers out. Take a leaf from the neighbours and do it stealth.

Not sure what the "significant issues" are if the fee is agreed. If it's at that stage and the club have told Simon the fee is agreed then they are very confident of wrapping it up.
