Waiting for the 10M balon dor clause. I hope we put it in and manage to convince them to accept it
Woody's gone mate.

Just sick of people calling a person names for doing their job. Its childish and annoying.I didn’t know his lawyer was on the Caf.
Good grief what an assessment of one of the top 3-5 midfielders in the world. He's easily not only better than those two, but also the kind of player who will understand the importance of the plan and tactics and potentially be Captain material too. I'm certain that Ronaldo would be far more productive being supported by players like De Jong and Eriksen who can actually string passes together and read play for a nice change.
Tielemans and Neves are good players who would be a solid improvement McFred, but that's about it.
They want around the same amount Havertz and Pepe went for.
Pretty sure the club will be able to find an agreement between 75-80m in the end likely including achievable add-ons
No Havertz cost €80m fixed + €20m add-ons, so the same as Nunez or Tchouameni recently.Havertz’s deal without add ons was around €70m and with add ons was €80m. Barca are taking the piss, he’s hardly pulled up any trees there, they’re desperate for money and still think they can demand such a ridiculous fee.

How do you know that?
The one target at a time thing has been widely reported as was the bureaucracy and process when we go sign players.
This was definitely true under Woody and it seems to be true so far under Murtough as well.
Sancho plays for United mate. This is another Sancho...move on and let's get some players in before the tour ffs. How many times is it going to take for the club to learn to negotiate with some pace. How difficult is it even to produce some conceptual fees?
How would Eriksen be an alternative to De Jong? Different sort of players aren't they??
After like 2 years, yes.Sancho plays for United mate.
Keep the faithAfter like 2 years, yes.

No they haven'tI can't believe they've quoted him the fee and the extras in two different currencies
Have they?I can't believe they've quoted him the fee and the extras in two different currencies
If there's people watching the Netherlands match for FdJ, I suggest to keep an eye on Gakpo as well. I think he is a better alternative for United on the wings than Antony.
So by all reports by Anthony and De Jong are very advanced and folk are still spouting this? The one target at a time thing has been widely reported as was the bureaucracy and process when we go sign players.

He is nothing like De Bruyne, neither in terms of style nor quality.Frenkie De Jong is the closest to De Bruyne offensive, attacking and creative level. Not only Bruyne pass and pass ability. But all basic ball ability. Ability to make good run forward with the ball, hard to take the ball from. At last of all. Ability to score. All those abilities are making De Bruyne a world class RCM player. Reallly consistent on a really high level.
So by all reports by Anthony and De Jong are very advanced and folk are still spouting this?
Exactly. Add to the fact that we already have an offer for Eriksen and were in advanced talks with Nunez(pulled out when Liverpool submited an improved offer), actually held talks with Timber's entourage. The thing is out there, we are definitely conducting business in a different manner this summer. So by all reports by Anthony and De Jong are very advanced and folk are still spouting this?
Yeah Judge is just helping out until he leaves since he would have been the point person for all the agents and clubs we'd been in contact with. Just a transfer of power to not leave the club going in blind.I believe he does not have any say in the transfers or negotiations though. He officially leaves next month.

They can keep renting out the Bernabeu for weddings and bar mitzvahs for the next 50 years.
Not sure Real Madrid will take too kindly to that!
No he didn’t, that was misquoted in the media. No Havertz cost €80m fixed + €20m add-ons, so the same as Nunez or Tchouameni recently.
Maybe no other club needs a player that can play the role and position he does…

Ok. A quick Google search tells me all of Kicker, Bild and Sport1 have reported is as a total fee of €100m. Might be a different spin in the english media. No he didn’t, that was misquoted in the media.
One answer, Inflation mateAgreed if he was still 21/22 like Havertz was when sold and like when Frenkie was when sold to Barce then fair enough but he isn't. He is 25 now and has basically stagnated for the past three years, he's playing worse than when Barce bought him, 3 years older, on astronomical wages and they want more than they paid?
I know it's not his fault as he has been playing in a different/worng position for the majority of his time there but it still doesn't change the facts. A players form and age are the biggest variables when it comes to a players valuation and both are worse for de Jong now then when Barce bought him.
