It COULD happen but it won't, United could offer to page his wages and do a loan with a hefty loan fee (like 30M euros) and pay the rest the next season as the "obligation to buy" part, picking up all of his current Barca wages for one season (the deferred wage part) and then giving him the new salary when he isn't a loanee.

It literally takes signing paperwork and doing a medical in Barcelona.

United could do a deal within an hour or two, they already have an agreement in place, I don't think it's off the cards, but I'm 98% it won't happen and 2% it will happen.
A medical this late in the window doesn’t tend to physically happen. They just send over medical files, we give them a browse and do a risk assessment based on that.

Yep, loan with obligation to buy is the only way this could happen.

Most likely they made a deal for him to stay for one more year until we get CL and come back for him next year. If they cant force him out (he got fifpro help) then best they can do is make him leave next year.

This is the way I thought it might play out.

1. We cover his full wages for the season loan, including the 17m which we factor in as the loan fee.
2. Obligation to buy next summer for standard fee, £70m?

The major question is still the deferred wages. Barca won't want him there on his current deal so it's still a stalemate in that sense. In the meantime we've acquired some tasty players and are starting to look like a decent XI although we are crying out for his qualities to make it click. I suspect we've become more enticing a prospect to him in the last few weeks.

Mick Ruby and Romero trolling United fans for months

Not without CL, and after that start we had, top 4 doesn't look at all like a guarantee. What if he comes here and it's EL for two straight seasons?

We'll have to earn him.

Shit waffling idiot. He's basically said in 3 minutes what any of us could have said in 5 seconds. He knows nothing.

Pretty sure it's just a random council estate dude that just read some forums and makes a narrative.

If you leave your house, go to an area with some trees and use the front camera on your phone, you don't know anything.

Production quality kind of shows a lot, if he had some ounce of truth or connections he'd have 100k+ twitter followers. Football transfers are big money these days and fans follow credible people.

Gerard Romero has 800K on twitter, even aggregator accounts like MUFC Scoop have 280K.

A person with 3k is an automatic blacklist.

Now that Depay is coming to Chelsea, he can bring his London vacationing buddy with him.

I think ITK is definitely a "profession" where you can fake it till you make it.
Talking rumours about United transfers is about the easiest way to gain followers , and then they use their "following" as credibility to get into the "knows"

Micky Ruby is the new Fabrizio Romano, that's why youtube took his channel down as they know Ruby was coming to reveal himself. He's been waiting on the side-lines for years to replace him as number one tier 1 twitter journalist.

It's said Micky is the mastermind behind Romano's connections and let Fab take the credit since for him it wasn't about the clicks, its about you, but now he feel it's time to reveal himself for the work he's done so Frenkie transfer goes over the line.

Trust him he's putting everything on the line for us.

Next season or January? Let's hope he has a rotten few months with Barca and their fan base start to boo him and force him out

How the feck is Gerard Romero classed as tier 1??

He’s literally the Barcelona Mark Goldbridge.

Didn't I read something earlier today about a plane being ready at 2pm from Barcelona?
Anyone follow that ? Or is it same plane that Auba is rumoured to be in at 5pm?
