I haven't been in here much. Just to catch myself up to speed, am I right in thinking this is the priority of outcomes for the relevant parties:
Barcelona:
1. Best case scenario they keep FDJ and he agrees to reduced wages (and give up the deferred wages).
2. They sell FDJ. To United or, apparently, Chelsea.
3. FDJ does not agree to a reduction in wages or to give up his claim to deferred wages. They are stuck in a bind as to who they can register of the new players.
United:
1. FDJ agrees to join us.
2./3. FDJ stays at Barca, either under his current contract or a reduced one. I guess the latter is the worst of the two, as it would be unpleasant to see Barca get away with this.
4. FDJ goes to Chelsea.
FDJ:
1. Stay at Barca under his existing contract.
No idea how to place reduced $ at Barca vs coming to United. That's up to him. He doesn't have to entertain either of these options.
