Mens draw is on right now. Murray is in Nadal's half! So it's Djokovic is in Federer's half

Men's quarters:
Djokovic Tsonga
Federer Berdych
Ferrer Murray
Tipsarevic Nadal

I think Murray has got one of the worst draws you could possibly get at RG :

R1: Ito. R2: Andreev/Nieminen. R3: Tomic. R4: Dolgopolov/Gasquet. QF: Ferrer. SF: Nadal. F: Djokovic/Federer.

Seriously, the last time I saw the press tip Nadal as this much of a favorite was in 2009, and we all know what happened then

What an absolutely incredible match between Serena and Razzano. Serena came into this tournament unbeaten on clay and with a 46-0 record in Grand Slam first round matches.

She was the overwhelming favourite for the match and was a set and 5-1 up in the 2nd set tie break. And then she started to bottle it. She somehow lost the set and went 5-0 down in the 3rd set. And then Razzano started to cramp badly and she started to throw it away and Serena got it to 5-3.

Then came one of the most nervy finishes to a match I've ever seen. Razzano was 30-0 up and then she got nervous and played apoor point and threw in a double fault and it was 30-30. And then for the 2nd serive game in a row, she got hit with a "hinderance" penalty for crying out during a point at 30-30 for break point. After that Razzano had an incredible 7 match points and saved around 3 or 4 break points before finally winning it on her 8th mactch point. Match of the tournament so far by far and Serena is out

Sharapova has got to be a clear favourite now with her clay record this year.

Djokovic looking like he may go down in the 4th round, will have to battle it out in 5 sets...Down 2 sets to 0, atm

Wow Djokovic really does not look like winning Roland Garros, even if he gets out of this mess of a match. Nadal will have him for breakfast and shit him out to make room for dinner.

I think last year was a freak year from him and if he couldn't win RG then he never will.

Yesterday was fun. Two matches going to 5, one of which will be completed today. Tsonga is just fantastic to watch. Del Potro-Berdych should also be a good finish.

As for Djokovic, his form has dipped slightly since winning 3 Grand Slams in a row but he looks particularly shaky on clay. Just doesn't look at home. Not surprising given he's never done well at this tournament.

Forget Nadal, Novak won't even win a set against Federer if he plays like that again.

It seems almost anyone can win a set against Federer these days so pretty sure Nole can do too.

He's gonna beat Federer in straight sets anyway ;)

fecking hell

Anyone see that point by Murray? Great defensive play.

Rafa is in sparkling touch. Tearing Monaco's arse anew. Feel sorry for him but noone can live with Nadal when he's on clay and on form.

So nadal lost only 2 games, just can't see anyone else winning

Murray clutching his back at random points in the match to throw Gasquet off, he's clearly not injured:rolleyes: Not that it really mattered anyways.

Where's that Federer fan on here who used to perpetually moan about Nadal faking injury?

Gasguet is such a pussy. Murray does that all the time get over it. Murray wanted a scrap and the crowd wanted a scrap and Gasquet spat the dummy and shit in his pants. The crowd were fairly entertaining but they should have at least been a bit sporting when the match was over.

Murray seems to enjoy the crowd being against him, hope they are against him when he plays Ferrer because that game will be much much harder and he will have to be at his very best to win, even then Ferrer is favourite for me.

I'm not a big tennis person but I've never understood women's tennis, what with how all the highest ratest players always seem to be the ones who lose. Some new one emerges and wins something, and then immediately falls into the pattern of losing constantly.

Because theres no real single dominating player at the moment.....so the person who wins the most recent slam or something gets a huge jump in ranking going into the next one...and a slight run of form in smaller events does that too.

And unlike the men, they can get away with playing part time too. Nadal/Fed/Djokovic no show and it's a big loss for the fans......Serena/Sharapova don't show up? Fans don't really give a shit unless it's a slam.

They also can't reward part time play too much like Serena wants them too, because it'd kill off the rest of the tour, which is why she can hold like 3 of the Slams, but not showing up elsewhere means she might not be number 1.

Gasquet is a bottler, he's miles more talented than Murray but he's a flake. Murray is not good enough to trouble the best tho'.
