All that is nothing we haven't seen from a player in his first season. getting knocked off the ball (lightweight), lack of awareness etc etc. Lindelof was accused of being lightweight and in his second season has grown in confidence and established himself in our team. People have problem with Fred's inconsistency within games that he does something really good and then something strange the next moment which I would agree with. That's all part of the learning curve. I would be more concerned if he didn't show anything at all. With more game time I will expect those inconsistencies to be ironed out and some more of his natural qualities to come out.He miscontrolled the ball when in plenty of space, he misplaced simple passes, he is so unaware of where the opposition is and got knocked off the ball, he only looks half in control of it and his body most of the time, and this wasn't against a PL side, it was against a team that is set to be relegated to the 3rd tier of English football, he wasn't alone in being poor today, but the bigger concern is that his flaws are basic fundamentals for a top player.
