Frankie Boyle

I would say 90 percent of the people I drop that knowledge bomb on are shocked to hear it's true. Then you run them through the logic and it all seems to make sense in their confused tiny brains.

Mock The Week is especially bad for it in those spin the wheel games. I'd say 9 out of 10 cats and Would I Lie To You ? even Have I Got News For You, are a lot better in letting it just happen in front of an audience which is why you can have great and absolute bollocks episodes of both.

Yea. They generally have an idea what to say but then you have reactions from others to what they say and that doesn't look scripted because it's easy to tell genuine laughter from non-actors as QI once explained.

Isn't QI the only one where the contestants don't know what the questions are beforehand?

On Mock the Week they're obviously told the stuff beforehand, Frankie Boyle did a podcast of him practising some material for the show a week before it was recorded. I doubt the other comedians know what the others are going to say but they'll all have prepared their own material for it.
