Frank Lampard | Coventry City?

Is it me or have Chelsea been mid table for like forever. They never seem to move up nor down despite so many losses.
It would be odd if they moved up with so many losses.

But Frank knows the club, knows the heritage. All those years in the second tier weren’t lost on him.

I am genuinely interested to check out a Chelsea forum to see if there are some fans defending Lampard purely because he’s an esteemed player for them and turn a blind eye to previous managerial record, akin to fans on here who defended Solskjaer and his inadequacies like their lives depended on it.

People understand now why Roman was hands on. Who ever thought Lampard was a great idea should be fired. The new owners need to learn fast that most club people can’t be trusted and their opinion means f-all, apart from leaks and using others a shield they know zilch.
It’s busted already, club legends don’t make good managers because your decisions and that of stakeholders are based on emotions. To be a top manager all decisions should be rational and ruthless in order to achieve excellence. When you get to the top by being favoured, how will you ever understand any other way of getting there and that is what makes top managers. They know all the ways that leads to the top. Frank does not and has always been the favoured child, this we are still seeing in the jobs he is landing.

What's the opposite of caretaker? Abuser? John Terry?

Roman hired Lampard as well!

Keeping his 100% record going...impressive.

Obviously not as bad as Ole, he was a laughing stock apparently...Frank is doing far better!

It just doesn't make any sense how he is doing so bad...doesn't he have a IQ of like 180?
He once took a test and got 150+ (so the story goes). He never did it again. Most of the questions are multiple choice so in a single test it’s perfectly possible to score much higher than your “true” score. Which is probably what happened but the more pertinent point is the tests only measure how good you are at doing the tests, not how “clever” you are. Loads people are good at tests but do dumb shit all over the place.

Christ, I've just seen their remaining fixtures. If they had four or five less points I'd put money on them to go down.

Frank has lost 24 Premier league games since Feb last year. No manager has lost more.

I’ve been jokingly saying our next win might come next season but seriously it might actually be next season at this rate.

Roman hired Lampard as well!
Yes, after a respectable first management job that could lead you to believe there is potential. Lampard did well with a group of youngsters initially (which he had due to the transfer ban) and then was fired when it was clear that he isn't taking the team any further. So I would say at the time he was hired by Roman it was a reasonable experiment, but I am 100% sure Roman wouldn't sign him again if he still was in charge now.

Bringing frank in was a masterful decision. Sets the bar so low for poch that he'll get at least five games to bed in before things get ugly. Boehly is a genius.

I'm sure i read somewhere that a lot of the squad he had didn't like him when he was in his first managerial spell with Chelsea. Not sure how many of those players are at Chelsea still but if they are I guess they can't have been too happy to see him back again. Dreadful appointment.
