This is what happens when you hire a complete amateur, absolutely dreadful decision by the Everton-board. Solskjær was incredibly bad at Cardiff and somehow ended up at United, Lampard did the opposite by starting at a big club and then taking over a small club after doing terribly at Chelsea. Lesson should have been learned, how Solskjær failed should have raised huge red flags for Everton relative to Lampard. Not saying every recent ex-pro will suck, but they are very similar in that they have never spoken about tactics or football like they know what they are talking about, they’re just blokes wanting to not leave football and live without it. It’s deserved, they’ve made their bed and have to sleep in it. Tons of managers could have easily saved them from this mess on a short-term contract.
