Four Four Two - 50 Best Managers In The World

Klopp could easily have gone to Bayern, PSG or Real Madrid and vultured league titles. Heck just avoiding the machine that is Pep would easily add 6-7 league titles to his CV. Klopp is much better at building a squad from nothing than any coach in history. The guy rejuventated two major dead clubs on a budget by himself and turned his 2nd division hometown team into a Bundesliga stable. He has literally never failed at a club, which is something probably only Pep can claim, who has always worked on the biggest budgets.
Have you ever heard of SAF?

It is quite amusing that Scaloni winning world cup is evidently not even enough to put him in top 50.

Eddie Howe is the 11th best football manager in the world?
I don’t think it is a long stretch, he is a very good manager. The way he changed Newcastle’s fortunes was impressive. Never complains about injury *cough* and gets on with the job.
He seemed to have learnt from his spell at Bournemouth and got rid of naivety.
He is better than ETH though, I will give him that

but where’s Steve Bruce, he laid the foundations

Yes but is he PL proven? Can he do it on a cold tuesday evening in Stoke? There you have your answer.

Premier League tax. An accomplished guy like Valverde who has won several trophies and has Athletic Club in 5th gets the 39th position. Postecoglou who manages one of the richest sides in the world has nothing, but says 'mate' a lot.

Nothing? He's won league titles in three different continents, mate.

Zidane should be on the list and quite low on the list. Zidane became the first coach to win the Champions League three times in a row.

If I'm not mistaken they only ranked managers currently active, not those without a job. So it's fair to omit him, as he simply isn't a manager right now.

A few in the top 20 who I’ve legitimately never heard of

What is an Abel Ferreira? And what makes him better than a champions league winning manager?

(I say this.. he could be himself. Literally no idea who it is)

Now I'm curious, who didn't you hear about? All of the top 20 did win stuff recently or at least went on other amazing runs.

Palmeiras manager
Oh. Doesn’t seem a big enough league to establish yourself as a top 20 msnager

13, 15, 19 (21 & 22) and I hadn’t heard of 20 until he got the Liverpool job recently

Sebastian Hoeneß (son of World cup winner Dieter and nephew of Bayern's long time CEO Uli) is currently managing Stuttgart, the most improved (season-to-season) team in the Bundesliga and still battling Bayern for finishing second after saving them from relegation last season.. Style a bit similar to Brighton I think. Really worth a closer look in next seasons CL.

I’ll keep an eye out for some of these names

It’s because I’ve stopped playing FM in recent years. I don’t even know half the PL players any more
