On Kobayashi top 3 @ 1,95 in todays ski-jumping, he's been on the podium 16/20 in the wc, winning 11.

Also had a big bet on Norway in the Cross Country relay, didn't post as I was annoyed with my bad tip on the womens relay yesterday.
Cashed out after he led after 1.leg - Conditions were changing and it was farcical- Turned out I was right as #26 or something won and none of the top 3 finished in the top 3 after 2.leg.
Dortmund crap as expected! :lol::lol::lol:

Some bets for tomorrow:
Alpine skiing:
Super G Rosa Khutor Women: Sofia Goggia win @ 2,5: Won the last race(Downhill) by 0.5 seconds. Gotten better and better after injury comeback, no Schiffren, which is the only one I see beating her now, under even conditions.
Downhill Kvitfjell Men: Kjetil Jansrud top 3 @ 1,72. Jansrud just won the world championship with a broken hand. He always does well at home in Kvitfjell, is in great form and his hand injury should be much better now . Last 8 times in Kvitfjell he is 1-1-2-3-4-5-5-7(not in that order).
Nordicbet @4,30

Nordic events in Seefeld:
Ski jumping mixed team: Germany @1,45 have the best women and mens team, they should win the mix easily. Might pull out if conditions are as horrible as today, ski jumping is a bit of bingo when wind is unstable like that.
30km Cross-Country Women: Therese Johaug @1,2 should win this by a minute, Norway have better skis under these conditions as well. Only slight worry was that Kalla did good in the Relay yesterday, but she hasn't been good for two years.
Expekt @1,74 - Can't see this one loosing, so going in heavy.

Live bet on the 30km Cross Country:

Karlsson VS Andersson: Andersson struggling to follow field when it's going uphill now - 1,89 on Andersson should be easy, which is also much better suited for 30km - only 19 Years old though, but should finish strong.

Karlsson easy win, 3rd over 30 seconds, don't think the bookie saw the race! Johaug broke away early and never in danger, won by 40 secs. Jansrud fecked up the Downhill, finished 8th in a race where everything was in place for him. Goggia race cancelled, may start tomorrow and should still win.
Going for Norway @2 in the Nordic combined now. Did really well in the ski jump, and has the best CC team, with Riiber at the last stage who should be fastest in any finish.

Controlled win for Riiber in the finish, also easy win for Germany in Mix team ski jumping, good day(so far...)!

Going to go with Jansrud again top 3 @ 3/1 tomorrow in the Super-G, same reasoning as for Downhill, he said himself he made some stupid mistakes in that event and originally wanted two medals this weekend. Also rinse and repeat on Goggia @2,15.

United ML vs Southampton + Chelsea ML vs Fulham @2.2

two must win games in the race for top 4. risk of the new manager bounce with ranieri getting sacked but its only scott parker as temp manager
Had combined this with Lloyd Harris to win on friday for total odds of 2.8. stupidly cashed out at 80 mins in the united match. lost over half my stake when i could have been 2/3 and just needing chelsea

:(

UFC tonight.

Jon Jones, Ben Askren and Cody Garbrandt. 2.43. If any of them lose itd be a huge upset, but it's the fight game. One punch could change everything.

My UFC treble,

Cody Garbrandt, Tyron Woodley and Jon Jones 2.80

Askren & Zabit both to win at UFC 235 @1.95 On that. 2 great fighters. Both undefeated.

One down. One to go. Like Muhammad Ali, Zabit ran the show. Pictogram Jones @1/7. Have to oppose. If you've got the 7 you don't need the 1. Smith to shook up the world for a pt.

Sorry, I didn't update my bet. I took Garbrandt out for Usman. Came in but luckily, Askren winning was a lucky stoppage.

Cursing myself for not betting on him to win @9 while Jansrud racing, he would probably have won but did a big mistake in the end and finished second. I wasn't aware because I just checked his stats for Downhill in Kvitfjell, but he has won 4 of the last 5 Super-G's there - so him being 3.1 to 1 for podium and 9/1 for win seems a crazy price in retrospect. Anyway, easy win @ 3.1 to 1.

Going with a punt on Harvey in the 50km Cross Country now @12/1. He is current world champion on this distance, and if he can stay in the front group he should win any tight finnish, he is fast and has won several sprint medals.

Chelsea -1 ah vs Fulham @1.87 seems like a lock. Fulham have been dire of late and have terrible stats in general.

Goggia race cancelled again btw.

Speaking of the 50km, I just put in a bet on Rothe, everything seems to be in place for him. Heavy conditions, and he is a small guy. Also he is best finisher after Harvey, and with all the Norwegians saying they will put pace on the race, I doubt Harvey will be able to stay with the front all the race.
Also put in a very little punt on Holund @ 41/1, perfect conditions for him, and is well rested as this is his first race in the WC.

Yeah I think it’s decent, although I’d probably just go for the -1.5 if I was betting.

Chelsea have been pretty good their last two games.

Could someone explain this simply to me please? I’ve been putting bets on for years but only ever pick an outright winner. I don’t understand what these mean.

They are Asian handicaps. So the first one is Perugia -0.5 so they start the game with half a goal down so need to win by 1 to win the bet. Like a normal bet

The second one is chievo +1 so they start the game with one goal up so if they draw the match they will still win the bet. And if they lose by one goal it will be a draw which with Asian handicap will result in a push (no bet)

This chart will explain it better than me
https://www.google.com/search?ie=UT...r&q=asian+handicap+chart#imgrc=7uU7u_FnHC85FM:

Units are just how much to bet on it so if you have £1000 of betting money and you divide it by 100 you have £10 for 1 unit. So 1.5 units would be to place £15 on it. You can scale it up or down depending on how much betting money you have available

Bloody hell, it’s amazing the amount of options there are in betting. I always think to myself I’ll spend a good few hours researching some teams before betting... but i always resort to lumping £5 on a five fold accumulator depending on who looked good in last weeks MOTD. Might experiment a little today. Cheers for the explanation!

Best to be aware that there is a difference between normal handicap and Asian handicap. For example Chelsea -1 Vs Fulham in Asian handicap if Chelsea win by 1-0 it will be a push (no bet) but in a normal handicap it will result in a loss because they include the option of draw

Holund broke away before 20Km and won by half a minute at 41 to 1, shame i only had 2.50€ on him, but covered my bets and a little profit so still happy!:D

Put in a livebet on Rothe vs Sundby @2.10 just before last hill as Rothe is clearly better finisher, thought it was easy money but Rothe only beat him with 3 cm's in the end in a narrow finish., guess his legs was gone after 50km!

As I am a newbie my posts has to be pre-approved, that's why they seem so late at times, if anyone wonders ;-)

Liverpool 3.2 to win the league now which is ludicrous imo for a team 1 point behind the leaders

Curzon Ashton in the National League North off level ball tonight. Should be -0.25

Two mainstream bets:

Sheffield Wed v Sheffield Utd, Wednesday 0.25, 1.5 units @ 2.11
Hamburg v Fürth, Hamburg -1.25, 1.25 units @ 2.12

On hilal 0 tomorrow and Kashima antlers -2, both in AFC Champions league.

Hilal will get backed in to about 1.9 win I think. Rule on AFC is 3 foreigns + 1 afc foreign so I reckon they’ll play degenek defence, Eduardo, Giovinco and Gomis. Should have too much fire power for Ain who are worse this season than before and can’t defend.

Kashima playing Johor, as mentioned above these is a rule on foreign players. Johor regularly start 9/10 foreigns in their league games. Can only play 3(4) of them tomorrow so will be a big drop off from their league side. Malaysian locals are really poor as well, 4/5-0 wouldn’t surprise me if Kash play well, were impressive against Newcastle in the qualifer.

That was easy and never in doubt.
Annoyingly had this with the Rockets, Clippers and Magic. Magic were up by 6 going into the last quarter against a terrible Cavs team...ended up losing by 15! Honest!! Magic are just impossible to bet on. Beat the Raptors and Warriors, lose to Knicks and now Cavs!!:devil:

On England Women Win at 2.2 as well v Japan. Think fair price is about 1.5. Japan been fortunate both games so far, isn't the best gen for them compared to previous years. Never had such a bad spell though.

What would you say is a fair price for the EH -2 Antlers? And fair price for AH -2?

1.5 for -2 AH, 1.9 for -2 EH. That’s an opinion bet though, not 100% that odds will drop. Hilal almost definitely will, as it’ll be a popular bet with the market I’m sure.

I had a single on Magics as well and I woke up to the horrible result this morning.
