Football retires from Zlatan Ibrahimovic (now son continues his legacy)

Very disappointed to see some of the comments in here. Zlatan is without doubt one of the most underrated players ever. He achieved some incredible things and his all-round talent was exceptional. His 1st season with Utd he was brilliant for us, that injury was really unfortunate and we got far worse without him. Extremely unlucky to have not won a CL with Inter, just very bad timing that move to Barca. Undoubtedly up there with the likes of Ronaldo, Matthaus and Bergkamp as the best players to never win the CL. I'd like to think he'll get the credit he actually deserves after retirement, the same way Rooney has after being completely taken for granted when they were still playing.

Zlatan has not retired

he’s just not playing anymore, he might put another jersey on in 10 years if he feels like it.

Great character, great player, and a prime prime prime example for us all on how too believe in yourself and too always believe in yourself.

What a player, what a career - and it's pretty great we got to see him in a United shirt, even if it was for a short while.

Found his autobiography very entertaining.

Another who almost becomes the victim of his longevity to the point that people forget his ability at his peak (like Giggs for instance),

Great for us since Ibra has helped this team a lot in terms of physiological aspects. At first, Maldini is the favorite to sit in this position. But he had a problem with the management and decided to resign.
