Have we all seen the transfer hack going around?

If you make a bid for any player of £0 up front, with £1.2k split over six 6-monthly payments and £2.5m after 50 league appearances, it gets accepted every time.

I just tried buying Haaland from City and they accepted. Obviously he turned Dulwich Hamlet down.

Just tried it but my board will only let me offer max £250k after 50 games  We've never had £2.5m in our history.

Easy way to fix United by starting a new save and abusing this bug. There will be no financial issues too. I'm going to probably try doing this. :wenger:

Bit of a nothing bug really as nobody would ever have found that out without trying to. I only ever really use the 12 monthly installment feature but I haven't actually played a save in a while where I've been making big money signings so haven't even used that.

I like how the odds/predicted finish changes based off who the teams sign or lose. Sure it was static at one point in the past.

Only just started looking at it after watching a youtuber who likes to monitor it.

My team is currently 7-5 second favourite after starting the window at 33-1 (13th). Confident of another promotion as last season we were 4th favourites and ran away with the league.

4 league games into life in 8th tier, can already say I'll be very surprised if we don't win this division. 5-1, 6-0, 4-0, 7-1.

We're bookies favourites now.

Would be nice to try and get as far as possible with free transfers but I'm sick to the back teeth of clubs coming in the second I offer a contract. It's so stupid.

Going to have to start spending money I think. Not that we have much.

I've still got three players in my squad from the seventh tier. They've been with me nearly all the way and two of them still get decent game time.

Nice one, what tier are you in now with them, League Two?

I've got a couple of players from the 9th tier I'll be using in the 7th. One striker who will become a bench option, and one midfielder I used as a regista first season then a Segundo Volante 2nd season. Totally unsuited to the roles according to the game but he's big and strong and scored 30 goals in 2 seasons for me from long shots and headers.

League One. In a play-off spot in Jan but haven’t had the time to play the last few days.

After three seasons at Viz, I got to work on one of those massive summers again, trying to see what free contracts I could offer and which players I could try and grab for cheap.

After signing up Berge and Fabio Carvalho on frees and signing Veloso on a permanent, I just had a quick nosey at the job front.

I noticed both Newcastle and Juventus were free after Mourinho and Alegre departed respectively. I threw in an application, really just to see where I was in terms of reputation.

Newcastle came back quickly just to tell me how much they didn’t want me, so back to work on the long summer and squad building…

…that was until Juventus came back and told me they were very impressed with my work at Viz and wanted to talk to me.

After a quick interview and no promises, I have been offered the job and I am off. After only 4 years in management, I am studying for my final badge and am about to join one of the biggest clubs in the world!

After accepting the job and meeting the squad….i might just have bitten off more than I can chew!

Might be time to retire the Cesana save. Did the Quadruple last season & have won my first 2 league games 9-0 & 8-0.

Thing really keeping me going is the Italy job, lost in the last 16 of the Euros to Sweden & want redemption! I’m surprised I wasn’t sacked but I need to win the world Cup to make up for it.

Edit: 3rd game 5-0

Lots of average players and massive huffers in the Juve squad. They have had no trophies in the save thus far (5 year drought) and reputation is sliding. They have just finished 7th and scraped into the Europa.

I decided to set about a rebuild job, focusing on players in their prime that can get us back to the top now. I tried to offload nas many average players on big wages as possible.

Out went Cambiaso, Feghouli, Jorge Sanchez and 5-6 other average players and I wanted to use the money to bring in top players that still wanted to come to us.

We managed to sign Upamecano to partner Ignacio at the back. He was unhappy and we got a great deal. We went in for Tonali at Newcastle as a bit of an all rounder in midfield.

We plumped for Barrenetxea as our new winger and also signed a very promising young Dutch DMC that goes straight into the team. Also a great deal.

We had two GKs, both over 36, so we got both off the wage bill and paid Kobel’s release clause to get assured quality in between the sticks. Our most expensive deal by far at £49 million, but a reliable GK can make or break a season and he was the best we could get.

We have some proven quality here in Vlahovic, Chiesa, Wirtz (a nice surprise on a free before I arrived) and Ignacio, but the likes of Locatelli, Mirelli, Gatti, Kean etc… are good, but not great. A definite drop in quality outside the first 11.

The plan is to get proven quality as it becomes available and then worry about young players with potential. We need more options that we won’t worry about bringing into the side.

Keeping a close eye on the transfer list and unhappy players, because we had to be very precise with the structure of deals and are losing money every month. There is no way we can pay the fees that big clubs are, but I am happy with those we have brought in so far and what we managed to pay for them.

As the final summer deal, we picked up an out of favor Harvey Elliot for a pittance.

My scouts say he is average, but I am punting on an overpowered Liverpool player on the cheap. I have a feeling he might surprise.

Trying to put my squad together for the 7th tier and am struggling a bit.

Finding it difficult to pick up players that are better than we had in tier 8. Problem is I left myself with a squad of 6 players after the end of the season.

Loads of players who I thought I'd be able to get saying my squad isn't strong enough. Players say that anyway much of the time, so I don't know if it's because of my complete lack of numbers, or if they'd have still said it.

Heading into the season I'm not too sure about a 3rd promotion on the bounce. If we don't get it I'll seek to retain more players next summer before attempting to bring in upgrades.

Was 450-1 for promotion when we had 6 players, 22nd out of 22 clubs. Now 250-1 with 11 players, 21st out of 22. I have contract offers on the table for another 10 to give me a workable squad. No way we're going down but I don't know if we'll be at the top. Still 3 weeks before the first league match.

Yeah I opted to sign before I got rid of players. Firstly you can kind of then compare them to your current players and secondly releasing a player at that level costs nothing.

Yeah, lesson learned on that one. Will do that next season. Just kicked off with a 3-3 home draw and have my squad in place.

Predcted for 13th now and 20-1 to win the title. Team we played against (Banbury Utd) has the same odds.

Always tend to overperform these odds so I think playoffs are possible.

Juve is not going totally to plan. A mixture of whiny and average players are making a meal of it. Highlights include a 4-1 collapse to Tottenham, a 2-0 horror show at Sassuolo and a 3-2 loss at lowly Bologna. We can’t seem to rest any of our first teamers without getting punished and the whiners are really affecting team morale. It’s been pretty annoying so far and part of me misses the hero worship at Viz!

We are just crept into the top 8 in the Europa, smashing HJK and Slavia Prague in January and sit 3rd in Série A, about 6 and 4 points off Milan and Napoli. I need some tactically tweaks and I need to sell the whiners and players I don’t trust.

Samuel Iling has whined about anything and everything since the start of the season. Despite being perfect for what I want on the left, he has to go. Tossed out for 22 million to Porto

Mirelli (15 million), Kean (23 million), Akanji (16 million) were quick to follow. I don’t think there was one 7.0+ between them so far this season, Kean with 1 goal, Mirelli with no assists and Akanji looking every bit of his 32 years.

It will probably leave us a little short, but they just weren’t good enough.

Although we are losing money, we needed some “CL” quality players, the type that could be in a team that made it to the final. Those are the only type I want to be thinking about.

We got very fortunate with a 29 year old Kolo Muani wanting to leave PSG. We snapped him up for only 29 million and a large percentage of any future fee. He is a 4.5 star player for us and it’s a fantastic signing when you see what certain other players are going for.

Nicolas Seiwald was our other transfer in January. His contract was running out and lots of teams were in for him, so we decided to pay 23 + 9 million in December to make sure we were the only ones talking to him.

A few youth players have been called up to fill in the gaps, but I would prefer a lighter squad with players I can trust.

We finished off the window with a blinder. Both Doku and Balogun coming in on free transfers, which means we should be able to sell in the summer and try to address our financial issues.

We need CL and hopefully a deeper pairing of Tonali and Siewald can make us harder to beat.

Started the season better than I thought, undefeated in the first 9 and sitting 3 points off the top. Beat Bishop's Stortford away a couple of games ago with an injury-time winner.

Got a striker who starts every season really well and this season is no exception. He's still 20 so is developing, could be with us for a while longer at this rate.

Were you able to find kits and badges for that far down?

Has anyone ever played the create a club?

What is it like in terms of where you start and your stadium/finances etc?

Anyone have any good saves from that mode?

Found badges, used the TCM Logos megapack downloaded from sortitoutsi. I imagine badges are quite easy as there's 70,000 images in that pack whereas some other packs have 300,000+. If they're in the one I got they're probably in the larger ones too.

No kits yet. I don't know any big packs for those. I picked this team beacuse I liked the kit on paper but it doesn't look that good in the game and they don't have a sponsor in it either. I also didn't know their shorts/sock colour when choosing them and sadly it's all a bit disappoiting. Almost all red at home, almost all blue away.

Think I might be able to get sleeve patches with the name of the division on it, not sure.

Might give that kitbasher a go that was mentioned!

For some reason a nice badge and kits help me no end get into the save

End up changing my own tracksuit and getting it all colour coded up. Hated Viense and loved Viz and it all came down to the kit and badge!

I know exactly what you mean!

Here's my team's in-game shirts:

Here's my profile outfit: (just noticed I'm regarded as slack on my personality, cheeky bastards )

I actually googled my team's kits, they don't even wear that.

Kind of reminds me of an old Denmark kit.

I think I found something for kits though, might install some from here: https://fmslovakia.com/downloads/kitpacks/fc12-season-2023-24/

Do you have any good kit packs installed?

That would looks great if you could somehow get it. How can you be slack with such a slick look? :D

I think I just downloaded off SI when I bought the game, but I think I will have a proper look round if I get some time this week.

I want to do a one club save after I finish this NLTL, but I need those kits

Exactly, I'm not slack! I think it's because I lie to my players. Grant them any request they want just to keep them happy then go against it anyway.

Just put my new kits in from that link, the Hellenic Premier Division from when the save started:

I'll do all the English leagues now from the same resource.

Those look awesome now. It makes such a big difference to the connection to the club/save!

Yes, it's much better! Just got to update my outfit now to red/white. Less blue!

On a completely seperate note, I'm already thinking of taking on a new challenge for my next save. Don't get me wrong, I'm staying with my current team until we win the Champions League. Just wondering what people think is the most fun classic challenge?

FC Vaduz of Liechenstein playing in the Swiss Leagues to Champions League Glory? Initial route to European competitions via the Liechenstein Cup.
San Marino Calcio (Italian Leagues)/San Marino National team to Serie A/World Cup Winners?
Pentagom challenge? (Win continental trophy in all 5 continents)
Something else?

I like the idea of all the stories in a Pentagon, I just don’t think my computer can handle the leagues, even switching them on and off, the database would blow up with players.

I think a nation builder with a smaller European nation could be good.

Second Yellow Card did a great one in Hungary and it looked quite fun as your are activity helping and cheering for other teams in your league in Europe.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the Second Yellow Card one. Was watching some Old Man Phil recently, not sure if he was necessarily wanting to do he pentagon but he was talking about moving around and trying to win lots of trophies. He started out in Indonesia. I also watched some TomFM specifically doing that challenge. Not sure what others make of him, but I don't find him that good to watch? He's a little bit dry/lacking in persona to me.

Will have a look into nation builder stuff too, see if there's any youtubers who have done something interisting.

Just beat this legend's team 1-0 in the FA Cup second qualifying round 1-0.

Alright, we were at home but they're a division above us and we had a man sent off after 30 minutes for 2 yellows.

Brings up another question, best way to play with 10 men? I'm using a 4-4-2, in this one I took off my most advanced player, an advanced forward and played a 4-4-1, keeping my pressing forward on to put some pressure on their backiline. Got the winner in the 85th and it was the PF who scored it. Record crowd of 948 people and record gate receipts of £16k.

Yeah I update mine annually and try to proportionately change the sponsor when the game tells me we've agreed a new deal. It also creates 3D kits for you so they match in game (and hanging in the dressing room/offices in the background) and then I'll manually use the in game editor to change the kits so they reflect on the line-up mid game and the commentary colour.

These are my current kits in League One. We're a classy bunch.

I'm on a horrible run in January with an injury crisis from hell (13 players out injured, top striker has the flu for THREE WEEKS). Constantly racking up twice the xG of the other team but losing to shit like 89th minute own goals.

5 - 2 up in my latest game. All I did at 80 minutes was told them to retain possession, not counter attack and slow the tempo down...

wtf.jpg

It's not even a joke when people say if you try to shut up shop you always concede. Or if you praise you'll basically instantly concede a goal.

We've just won the Bristol Street Motors Trophy. Fittingly it was my versatile full-back Tim Addison who has been with me since the 7th tier who came off the bench to have a MOTM performance and assist the winner in Extra Time. Fighting for promotion still but it's touch and go as I keep getting FM'd.

Am I missing something or can you not put 7-8 players in the box for a corner? Seems to only let me put 4-5 in whether I leave it to the set piece coach or do it myself. Very annoying when you have about six 6 foot 3+ players.

Yeah it would probably break the ME or something. I want to be able to throw everyone in the box and see what happens etc.

They probably tested it and it was broken and limited it to like 5 or something.

I'm on a run of that type of game where the computer scores their only chance and the game basically patronises you by showing you a highlight where you hit the bar as if to say "look, you nearly scored! soo close :)". And then further rubs it in by showing 0 other highlights for the rest of the game until the 92nd minute where you equalise!... but it's offisde, sorry :).

Dropped out of the playoff spots now but have a game in hand. Will be close.

EDIT: Next game 3 - 1 up, lose 4 - 3 in the last minute. Wooooah soo unpredictable every game is such a ding dong battle ending 5 - 7 just like real life

4th played 6th so I snuck into the playoff. Lost the semi final to Wimbledon though so that means it's the first season I haven't gone straight up. Another year in League One for us.
