Baines would make an awesome CDM in his older years. Very well rounded attributes in all departments.
Yeah he just fired me to the PL title in the 2018/19 season.
I managed to take 1860 Munich from the 2 Bundesliga to winning the Bundesliga by only spending 3.5 Million pounds in two seasons

Spent 15m more and won the CL in the third season. Signed a few freebies and split 7m on Chris Smalling and a decent striker to add depth. My squad has insane value right now, with all 5-6 free transfer players all being worth above 20m

For Inter it was common in fm14, but Schalke relegated and Hamburg in europe.

Just finished my 1st season with PSV and won the Dutch league in City-esque fashion, only had to win one of my last 2 games but lost 1-0 to AZ but luckily Ajax slipped up and drew so only needed a draw going into my last game against Heerenveen but disaster struck in the 80th min when they took the lead against the run of play, then in the 92nd minute Narsingh scored for me to become an instant hero and deliver PSV their first title in 8 years.

Chelsea have bought Lukaku 3 times on my game. Back from Everton for 40, from Juve for 25 and from Barca for 20. Realism.

Really wanted to build a dynasty with them and make them a European Powerhouse, which after 2 PL wins in the 1st 2 season was possible. Unfortunately the stadium build has glitched, got it granted and planning started. Although planning will never finish as it just adds a year on every season, happened on last year's edition as well.
Can't even ask for an expansion as it's just constantly planning the new build.

I don't know that I'll last past this season at Almere, board are stingy as feck. Scraping every penny, squeezing, get 40% of sales for buying.

Europa League campagin is under way. Took a spanking away to Roma 0-5.
Second game was at home to Spurs. Scored early on in the second half...and held on for a historic win. Sitting in 2nd place after 2 games. Roma in first with 4 points.
Third game at home to BMG...a narrow 1-2 defeat.
Away to BMG next...which brought a thumping 1-5 loss.
Trying to hold some hope of moving on in our final home game against Roma...only to be crushed 0-4, when they only had 10 men.
Mathematically already knocked out of the group. One game left to play away to Spurs...bit of a group of death for us, so didn't expect too much...but a learning experience for the lads at least.

2015, not announced at the moment. Apparently the likelihood is depending on how the current sale on 14 goes, so I'd doubt it.
Ridiculously that isn't the best way to be effective late in a game. It's more about players individual duty and team instructions. So try setting everyone to attack duties and offensive roles. Stick on early crossing, pump ball into box etc. I had a late comeback in a game with my strategy still on counter yet my players were going all out.

Knowing what sort of shape the squad is in, you did well to even get a win in that group.
I'm guessing you're top of the league though. And you should be looking at a bigger budget next summer due to the Europa League money.

Not too much in the summer window. Couple of 19 year olds with a bit of potential, and a center back. My midfield and forward are all 4 stars but my defence is lagging. My youth intake this season brought 2 4.5 star potential 15 year olds...one in cb...one in cm...so can blood them through in a couple of seasons hopefully.
Been putting some ridiculous results up in the league. Quite a few 5 goal wins.
think I have about 7m projected balance for end of season.
Rather than doing the same old FM Experiment, I have an idea. We should do a joint save, in that one person starts a save, does a season, and then passes it on to someone else from the caf and they then do a season, and so on. Could be a bit of fun if we got enough people interested?
