Football Kits 2015/16

I like the Barca kits. Don't see what the fuss is about.

Tradition. As a Stoke fan I'd be pretty fecking annoyed if one year we got a hooped kit.

Imagine Celtic with verticle stripes.

It's a nice kit, but it isn't a Barca kit.

Man, Nike's third kits are terrible. What's with the soot covered sleeves?

The Barca shirt looks like Arsenal from a few years back.

That Barcelona home shirt is horrible. Not a fan of Nike breaking up tradition like they tend to do.

i thought it was bad enough that clubs change their kits every year, but now that's not good enough. teams that not only announce the club's new season kit before the existing season is over AND proceed to wear the new kit in the "old" season (if that makes sense) is utterly shameless.

so of course liverpool do it.

Yeah, that's understandable. Seemed like people here just didn't like the look of it in general though.

We'll probably be doing it with Adidas. It's not the clubs who decide.

Agreed. At this rate we'll soon have special kits that we wear once or twice a season for a derby, like they do in college football (American) in the US.

That exists already. Dortmund for example have kits just for the CL campaign. This season they also had a kit for a special occasion, i dont know for what it was exactly, but it was just a kit for one game.

Celtic had stripes before they had hoops.

I think the Barca kit looks fine if you can accept the break in tradition.

Not sure if authentic.

Wouldn't surprise me if that's the real one as it matches the template of the United one earlier on in the thread. If it is, poor form for Adidas to give two of their biggest names the same template.

It's fake. Those are also pictures of Oscar and Hazard from years ago.

These are apparently authentic ones. Not sure how I feel about them, tbh. Always like when we have a white away shirt I guess.

In South Korea Samsung are introducing "smart" football kits. The fabric incorporates Bluetooth technology which detects the other team strip's density of hue. It then autonomously changes shirt color in order to produce maximum contrast gain with whatever the opposition are wearing. Check it out.

Not really, standard practice.

They do it all the time. Nike is no different.

They're nice enough, but they look like kits the French national team should be wearing.

Surely the Barça away shirt is the wrong way round?

They'll have a massive square to cover the numbers in the CL so what's the point of the stripes on the back?

That's my thought too, unless they use some thick colour border in the numbers. Though this season they only used the third kit in CL.
