Very nice indeed. You can't beat landing a bet with a really late goal...although I'd prefer to be 3-0 up at half time and breathe (relatively!) easily!

Going with Athletic Bilbao to get 5 or more corners away to Panathinaikos tonight at 10/11.

Got in a pretty good run towards end of last season on corners and Bilbao were 1 of my regular picks. Went with 3 of my other regulars on the weekend in City -3 Spurs 7 or more and Ajax -3 and they all came in so hoping my run keeps on holding up with these teams. Also found Milan and Roma to be pretty solid on corners for me as well.

Cheers for the tip.

Fingers crossed. Found myself getting nowhere on accas so switched to doing singles on corners instead.

Did end last season disastrously by doing Ajax 6 or more corners against United in the final. They got 5 and taunted me by finally getting the 6th in the 94th minute only for ref to give a free kick for a stupid attempt to win the ball and score a meaningless consolation. That hurt.

Going for Thiem and Isner today
If Thiem manages to iron out those unforced he will easily beat Mannarino

Ajax, Everton and Milan treble tonight at nearly evens looks decent.

For a bit of interest;
Ajax
Fenerbahce
Marseille
BTTS/Win

£5 @ 38.8

Seriously? That's brutal

Thanks for the tip by the way. Guess I'll try some kind of acca but Europa League Qualification Rounds are often incredibly difficult to predict in my experience as a lot of the bigger teams don't really take it seriously (enough). Will likely only stick a few bucks on one or two accas.

Won a nice one yesterday. Today done,

D.Zagreb, Ajax, Legia, Ludogorets, Milan and Rakvere Tarvas @ 3.76

Don't know why I bothered with the fecking Europa League. The results are mental.

Europe league and international friendlies, I don't think I've ever won a bet on either!

Thanks! Found myself randomly taking on your punt and actually doubled it with milan half time/full time at 9/4. A £50 stake returned £165.50!!! Although i only did £5 for £16.55 ;-)

Nice! Just as well Bilbao went 2 down and had to attack otherwise I don't think they'd have made it.

I'll have a look tomorrow morning to see if there's anyone I really like on corners for the weekend.

Edit. Only just seen the white text! Still a wins a win.

Didn't realise I had another RequestABet winner yesterday...

Morning all. Tonight sees the return of one of my favourite leagues for goals. The Eerste Divisie in Holland. Caution is appied this early in the season as we have no trends to work with yet, but having had a quick look at the fixtures one team who were very good to me last season in the btts market might be worth a little bet in play. Almere City. 17 of their 19 away games last season saw both teams score and tonight they travel to NEC who, although relegated from the Eredivisie last season, were never short of a goal or 2 at home. The price for BTTS is 1.57 atm which is a little short for me so waiting for 10/15 minutes in the hope of no goal being scored then getting on @1.70 or above is my prefered route. And for anyone wanting to watch this one look out for Henrik Larssen's lad Jordan. He might not start for NEC but should get some minutes late in the game.

Going for
Metz vs Monaco
Dimitrov
vs Sugita

and possibly adding Thiem vs Ferrer

Nice work! These things are pretty random and I'd be pretty sure the bookie profit margin is usually massive. But nice work!

I remember last year at Unibet, when I could still access my account, I almost put 250 PLN I had won from a small bet on something similar in Arsenal v Everton game, last game of season. It was Arsenal to win, both teams to score, Jagielka and Koscielny to be booked, over 10.5 corners, and the odds were 125/1. Lucky I did not do that because I'd have been left absolutely fuming as Arsenal won 3-1, Koscielny was sent off and Jagielka was booked but there were only TEN corners in the entire game

Another one for the Dutch Eerste this evening. Cambuur vs Ajax reserves. Both sides have seen a number of changes during preseason so small stakes advised but every year one thing stays consistent with Ajax and to a lesser extent Cambuur and that's plenty of goals being scored. For example, last seasons two h2hs saw over 2.5 goals land on both occasions. Tonight Ajax are without 3 of the players who scored the goals in last seasons fixture with Kluivert and De Jong both joining the senior squad and Clement joining Reading. However, as I've mentioned these changes happen year in year out and the goals still come. The price for over 2.5 is again a little short for me to have a pre match bet (1.57) but if we see a goalless 10/15 minutes then 1.70 and above should be available in play.

Just got a free £50 in play offer from Bet365 for the Spurs-Chelsea game. That's two in a week; they were sparse as feck last season. Maybe it's because I didn't play the Arsenal-Leicester one.

I love that league for goals.

VVV Venlo, Cambuur Leeuwarden and MVV Maastricht were usually safe bets most weeks last season.

VVV fecked me over so many times last year. A case of them winning whenever I didn't bet on them.

I only got a £5?? But that's probably because I haven't used them for months. I've become quite attached to the SkyBet platform recently with the weekly £5 free bets and the RequestABets. I'll probably go back to Bet365 for the parlay bonuses and when the basketball kicks in again.

Anyway, just stuck it on Spurs/BTTS pre-match. Will probably go for a 3-2 to Spurs in-play. It's only 5 quid so not fussed!

Ha ha yeah that was true as well. PSV and Ajax were right buggers for that last season too.

Aye and not forgetting FC Oss either. They went on a 20 game over 2.5 tear up last season that lasted 6 months. Tom Boere scored the majority of the goals in that period and Unibet were giving 17/10 anytime on him most weeks. He's been snapped up by FC Twente now though unfortunately.

One for this evening:

Bayern Munich, Sparta Prague, As Monaco, Differdange 03, SV Horn, Cork City, Hibernians, Besiktas or draw @5.09

Been one off on two accas this week.

Today I plumped for Bayern, Monaco and Valencia (who are 1-0 up versus 10 men Las Palmas)

£50 returning £150 looks in.

Went for Bayern, Monaco, Waterford and Chelsea u23s earlier at 5/1ish which came in :) only a small stake though but beefs up my stakes for the weekend.

Ipswich have won 3 out of 3 so far this season at home to Brentford today who have 1 point from 3 games. Ipswich are 2/1 whilst Brentford are 7/5 favourites... Anyone follow either of these clubs and know why this might be?
