Football Betting Thread 2017/2018

Glad you guys got on. Zenit II v Tom Tomsk in the same division should also see a FHG, if there are a few shots and no early goal then I'll be backing that once it hits evens. Kicks off at 15:00. In-play right now Dinamo Zagreb u-19 0-1 down to Slaven Koprivnica. Not sure what I'm going to back at the moment but I'd expect over 2.5 goals to land, 8/13 at the moment. Probably going to wait it out for a better price and possibly over 2 Goal Line instead.

Edit - Just got on over 2 Goal Line at slightly above evens. Not as many shots as I was hoping for so only a small stake.

Had a 12 fold, £5 stake to return £275, everything came in except Italy.

Today, had a treble which included Fellaini to be booked.

Piss off football, piss right off.

Estonia handicap was excellent pick but Luxembourg let me down.

I went for Cyprus or draw, Portugal -3.5, Bulgaria +2.5, Belarus +2.5 and Switzerland now. Big stake.

Portugal -3.5 was so stupid.

You still got time! Wouldn't say it was stupid, Portugal should be putting four past Andorra. I'm on Portugal -2 at HT and -1 when they went 1-0 up again so could do with another goal or it's looking just like refunds.

Holland and Switzerland in, gone over 1.5 Costa Rica/Honduras for the treble. Decent value at 1/2, Costa rica are decent.

Accaday is Saturday. Usual story. Had a 28/1 treble of Forest Green double chance, Walsall draw and Crewe draw busted by a 94th minute Crewe winner. Accrington falling to score at home for the first time in 15 games vs Luton bust a decent 4 timer. Portugal failing to score 1st half vs Andora lost me a hefty single. If it wasn't for BobbyManc and his tips I'd be posting this from a spoons doorway wearing bin liner trousers.

 happy to be of assistance. I've had a shit day as well to be fair, started off very good with a few winners early on but no luck since then. Also had the same frustrating problem of finding a bet and a goal ruining it a few minutes before I've got the odds I want. Was about to tip over 1.5 goals in Ecuador (El Nacional v Macara) once it hit 0-0 at HT but Nacional scored last kick of the half. Will keep an eye on it anyway if it stays 1-0 for a while.
(dodged a bullet thanks to that goal as it turns out).

They did let me down but so did Cyprus to be fair. I still had some fine bets on those accumulators but got nothing to show for it.

That's why you should stick to singles as much as possible mate. Find a selection you're confident in and back it in-play on its own. When you start doing accumulators like that you're more likely than not going to get screwed over by something stupid like Portugal not putting three or four past Andorra.

Going for Goffin, Pouille and newly crowned #1 Halep tomorrow
Goffin needs the points(and is levels above Mannarino) and Pouille is playing vs Medvedev who is not exactly on form
Odds of 2.68

I am tempted to go for Poland, Germany -2.5, Slovakia -2.5 and Czech -5.5 at 4/1. Can anyone help me and tell me if it's stupid or not? Big stake likely.

That's a good point but with the stakes I usually have available during the day it would probably not get me much of a yield.

I added Denmark and can win 1590 PLN after taxes from 250 PLN stake. Fingers crossed.

Denmark only need a draw today... are you sure they will go guns blazing for the 3 pts?

Also not sure about Poland's qualification scenario.

Denmark can go through with the win if Poland lose to Montenegro. Slim chance but I think Denmark will want to win in front of their own fans and Romania have absolutely nothing to play for.

Poland need a draw but we will 100% go for the win as that will all but secure top seed for the World Cup groups draw.

Me and my pals had this up yesterday. 94th minute winner for Cheltenham

Congrats, man. What a fecking bet!

As for today's games, Slovenia @3.00 seems good value. They need to win against Scotland at home and have every chance to do so IMO.

Slovenia are also yet to concede at home in this campaign.

edit: Just took a closer look at the standings and realized that Scotland basically need a win as well, as Slovakia will definitely beat Malta at home.
Oh well, I'll be sticking to Slovenia though their chances of progression are slim to none. They're still very good at home.

What a guy! What was that, £40 x 4 of you? Or £20 x 8?

We always do one of these when the lads get together for a trip to Newcastle then watch the scores roll in over a few drinks. Might start doing a win acca rather than BTTS which we usually do!

I was also looking at Slovenia but the downside of them is that if Slovakia are leading against Malta by a couple at half time they will know that they are out and won't care in the second half. That last gasp goal they conceded against England will have cost them big time.

Yeah, that's a valid point.

Hopefully they're motivated to finish the campaign on a high in front of their own fans and maintain their great home record.

BTTS Kazakhstan v Armenia at evens. Small stake, might reback at higher odds later on/over 1.5 goals as well. Quite confident with it given how the game has started.

Two teams at HT I'm going to look at to score in the 2nd half, Denmark and Cordoba. 1.5/1 for a double right now, little bit on that, will see if either are worth backing as singles in-play.

Settled for a Slovenia DC but turns out that was a mistake as well. Can't see them equalizing.

Ah, Sunday. Always my best day for betting.

Great shout mate went in on that one.

Little dabble on Montenegro to score at 7/1. No Jovetic which is obviously a big miss but Poland not the best at the back, have a feeling Montenegro might sneak one back in the last ten minutes.

Did you post that before or after the bicycle kick? :D
