Flight of the Conchords

Fully expect the fecking touts to clean up with those two new dates as well.

Saw them last night at the Birmingham NIA.

Absolutely fantastic.

The highlights for me were the new song 'Woo A Lady' and the climax of 'Both In Love With A Sexy Lady' segued into a rejigged version of 'Sugalumps' with the pair of em jumping off the stage and thrusting their crotches into the women on the front row.

Aye I saw them in Manchester. Brilliant stuff. The banter they had with the crowd was the highlight for me.

During Sugarlumps Brett grabbed this guys Iphone and started taking pictures of his crotch.

I just finished watching both series and thought it was great. Loved the music. Murray is the best thing in the show for me, he has all the funniest lines and a brilliant delivery.

medium M

lol, what a great show it was, should have done a few more seasons, but would mean a loss of quality and I believe they ran out of material.

The crucial difference between them and something like, Boosh (apart from the casmic difference in funnyness) is the music...it's genuinely very good...I've been listening to this all day and even learned it, I can't get enough of the chorus even though its achingly simple

The chorus reminds me of a Lily Allen song.

I discovered them quite recently and it took me a little while to get into it. In the show Jermain and especially Brett are very neutral characters with a lot of the comedy coming from the other actors Rhys, Kristen and Arj. I find myself humming lots of the songs

Hurt Feelings
Both in Love With a Sexy Lady
Inner City Pressure
Jenny (live)
Pencils in the Wind (Paper Bags)
Ooh leggy blonde you got it going on . . . . panties on
Brett's angry dance

Simpsons guest star appearances have fallen a long way since the days of Dustin Hoffman and Michael Jackson etc. It looks pretty terrible but you can't blame them for that. Maybe the Inbetweeners went on too long but The Simpsons? don't get me started on modern slapstick Homer.

I don´t get this joke. Can someone explain it please.

He says "my lyrics are bottomless" then says nothing else. Thus his lyrics are no really bottomless. Him being call the Hiphopapotamus is irrelevant to the joke really.
