Flight of the Conchords

I actually prefer the dialogue to the music. The music in the second season wasn't as good, you could tell they were running out of songs.

I also prefer the dialogue. Their songs are much better live.

Personally like Issues myself.

"Could somebody please. remove these.. cutleries... from my knees!"

The songs generally work far, far better in their live shows than they do on the TV show.

My favourite song of theirs is probably Jenny, which was never in the tv show.

"Oh, I remember exactly what we did at the look out. We just looked out across the city from our little spot on the hilltop. Oh, It is so pretty from way up there. We talked about how the lights from the buildings and cars seemed like reflections of the stars that shined out so pretty and bright, that night."

"....it was daytime."

".........the daytime of the night!"

Agree. With a couple of exceptions. Too Many Dicks and that song about the girl with the lazy eye. They were awesome.

I love Flight of the Conchords. Has anyone seen the HBO Live programme they did? Get hold of it if you can it's great.

They're coming to the UK!!

Flight Of The Conchords announce UK and Ireland tour - ticket details Duo set for dates in May

Flight Of The Conchords have announced a UK and Ireland tour.

The duo will hit the road in May, playing across Europe. Kristen Schaal who plays super fan Mel in the HBO series will provide support in Dublin, Birmingham and Manchester while Arj Barker who plays the band's friend Dave will open the show in London.

The dates are:

Dublin Olympia (May 5,6)
Birmingham NIA (10)
Manchester Apollo (11, 12)
Glasgow SECC (14, 15)
London HMV Hammersmith Apollo (May 16, 17)

Remember when they fill in the forms for biscuits, and then a few episodes later out of nowhere the biscuits arrive? I've never laughed so hard.

Hammersmith tickets were a bitch to get off Ticketmaster through the presale, they were only selling singles.

Hoping to get some in the general sale tomorrow.

How exactly does Ticketmaster work ffs. I was refreshing since 8:45, clicked "buy tickets" the moment it appeared. It could not have been done any faster by a human. Still nothing.

Aint got a clue mate. I got put in a queue for front row seats at about 2 minutes to 9 and then when I eventually got through 10 minutes later they were sold out.

I had the other site up searching at the same time for best available and managed to snap up a couple more in the middle tiers.

Honestly didn't expect them to go that quick. Especially at Birmingham. I guess that means they'll be shrinking the arena because that place is massive.

Missed out, absolutely gutted.

In the same boat lads, gutted.

Nevermind lads. Now I think about it, we'd probably have ended up sat next to some student who thought it was cool to sing along louder than the guys on stage and shout out all the punchlines early.
