FlashForward

I'm trying to ignore the plot holes and roll with it. But bloody hell is the plot a shambles, whoever is the writer of this show needs shooting because the actors are working with utter tripe.

Have heard that this show may be getting cancelled, apparently production has halted and it received a lowest ever rating for the last episode. Poor script, poor plot and poor acting putting paid to what was an excellent premise.

ABC Freezes Production on ‘FlashForward’ Feature Story

“FlashForward” has become the second ABC show , the other being “Cougar Town,” to go on a planned production hiatus despite “Forward’s” first ratings low since its premiere on Sept. 24, 2009.

ABC has stopped production on its freshman drama series “FlashForward” for a six-day hiatus.

Yet, fans of the hit science fiction series that stars Joseph Fiennes of 1998’s Best Picture Academy Award winner “Shakespeare in Love,” need not worry since this pause in production was an already built-in component of the show’s schedule.

I have seen better actors in my life, but FF it's really interesting as a science fiction, with many suspense, it's intriguing, couldn't deserve to be canceled

And FF reminds me "Sliders" Sliders - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , shite actors but the stories were enough interesting to beat up the actors' limits

I'm still enjoying it. The acting is fine but the script is occasionally a bit clunky but it is the direction and pacing that is the main thing that needs improving. I liked the terminally ill doctor searching out the Japanese girl in his flashforward storyline although it might turn out to be pretty dull in the end.

I've started to think of this program as a satire, and with that fresh perspective, I'm really enjoying it.

The last episode I watched whilst taking a nice long shit which made it worht

Five are advertising episode 10 as the end of season episode??!

Its not come up yet on those disgusting to rent site

I think it'll go to a second season & that's about it.

Great concept, poorly executed.

Yeah the network probably has enough invested to give them at least one more year. I was watching something on ABC.com when I watched the 2nd episode as I missed the primetime broadcast, and they were talking to the two creators about the show and they said, that they already knew how the show was going to go scene by scene episode by episode....wonder if they also knew their show was going to be an absolute piece of shit.

As above excellent idea for a concept of a show; it's not even that it is poorly executed, it hasnt been excuted to any degree when you think of all the innovative things they could have done with the concept the writers/creators surely must have stole it from someone else because their lack of creativity after the original concept has been appalling, on top of that you have some of the worst acting on television, worthy of a 1 pm Soap Opera spot and not a conveted 8pm Thursday night primetime spot.

Its based on a book isn't it? which would explain why it has a decent storyline.

Looked at the wiki page of the corresponding novel seems to have nothing similar to do with the show other than the two minute blackout, which was caused by CERN in the book hahahah

Spooky, Alex - I was just reading the same page.

todays one annoyed me, Olivia especialy, shes all like i'm going to always keep my distance from him only to do the complete opposite at a time where it would be the easiest to do just that

That certainly could have been the reason why I forgot my flashforward of Livvie

In Flashforward revealed after the show it mentioned them knowing whats going to happen in the 3rd and 4th series!

fecking A dire so far. Joseph Fiennes with some additional crap dialogue, like really shit, I mean ffs get this guy off the television screen what an annoying fecking twat. Thanks alot England

The looks on his face tonite have been absolutely classic

Interesting development with that laser building in Somalia. It's just about keeping my interest at the momment.

It blew my mind because he's clearly in his early thirties yet he invented it in 1992 which would have made him about 16. Meanwhile the visibly older scientist chats up the doctor and reveals he was at Harvard in 1998.

I assume the casting director didn't read the script?

The plot twist with the whole Harvard angle was awful

Alex,

For somebody who supposedly wants to distance herself from her apparent future relationship wrecker, she got very involved. Especially as he is the most hated man on the planet and this makes her like him!

:wenger: This show is compelling because I think it's so bad that it becomes good in a strange twisted way. I find myself groaning at the screen, yet I still end up watching the next show.

 Never really noticed that. I'll add it to my "insult to our intelligence" list.

Surely the best way to avoid whats going to happen in the future is to stop the Mosaic project completely?

FlashForward will be taking an extended hiatus until March 4 following Thursday's new episode.

An ABC spokesperson said that the later date will allow the serial drama to air new episodes back-to-back without repeats. The Wrap, which first reported the news, also says ABC does not want the show to have to compete with the 2010 Winter Olympics, airing in February on NBC.
