Prestige was good...thats about it.Well made, god direction excellent acting but the plot was weak and the twist was quite non-existent.
 
Why limit yourself to the last seven years Kiwi? Its clear for all to see that 98% of modern films are complete Shite. Anyway here's my two'penneth:

1. Downfall
2. Seven Samurai
3. Mystic River
4. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
5. Ratatouille
 
1) The Shawshank Redemption (You have to read the book and watch the movie if you haven't)

2) The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (It has everything everything you want from an entertaining movie. However, it's just too long but it's enjoyable.

3) The Prestige (I won't say anything else as you all know the movie)

4) Saw (The first one was great, the next two and especially the last were extremely brutal)

5) The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (Say whatever you want but SpongeBob is awesome and so was this movie)
