So I've just started holiday and am connected to a hub where I can download movies in a few minutes, so I was wanting to know five movies that you guys really enjoyed. It doesn't have to be your five favourite, simply five movies that you enjoyed viewing. I would prefer it if they were semi recent, i.e. in the last 7 years. I'll start with mine:

1. The Pianist
2. Memento
3. Lord of War
4. Sin City
5. Snatch

1. City of God (Cidade de Deus)
2. La Haine
3. The Prestige
4. Perfume
5. The Science of Sleep

(The Last King of Scotland and Blood Diamond would be there but they've already been mentioned)

I can't compile any list regarding movies unless it includes Costners finest work I'm afraid, even though it was 16 years ago now!

1. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
2. The Motorcycle Diaries
3. The Count of Monte Cristo
4. Anchorman
5. The Thin Red Line

1. Serenity. (Criminally underrated!)
2. Pulp Fiction. (A well-known classic, and I love it.)
3. Pan's Labyrinth. (Spanish with sub-titles, but don't let that put you off.)
4. Lucky Number Slevin. (A really good gang film.)
5. The Truman Show. (Still Carrey's finest work.)

1. - Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels
2. - There's Something About Mary
3. - The Sting
4. - Old School
5. - Goodfellas

1) The Lord of the Rings
2) 300
3) Borat
4) The Simpsons
5) Pirates of the Carribean

1) The Lord of the Rings

2) The Godfather 1 & 2.

3) Once Upon a time in America

4) Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy of For a few Dollars More, A fistful of dollars and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

5) Pirates of the Carribean

1) The Lord of the Rings

2) The Godfather 1 & 2.

3) Once Upon a time in America

4) Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy of For a few Dollars More, A fistful of dollars and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

5) Pirates of the Carribean

Last year my dad and I watched those exact same three movies, and they were wicked. Are there any other Westerns similar to those?

The top 5, or even 10 that i would've chosen have already been said. So i'll go for:

The Woodsman
Big Nothing
Die Hard 4.0
Bang, Bang, You're Dead
Outlaw

If it's already been said and you really liked it then still write it down; if there are many people saying the same movie then it's probaly a good indication that I should download it!

1. The Bourne Identity
2. Apocalypto
3. Y Tu Mama Tambien
4. Ichi the Killer
5. Oldboy

I liked the Lord of the Rings too, but everyone's seen them by now. Even my mother, who's only watched 3 movies in the last 20 years.

Oh yeah, Infernal Affairs is far far better than The Departed.

I'll name five movies with a bit of variety, but they're all very good films.

1. Blood diamond. (one of the best films I've ever seen)
2. Apocalypto (didn't think I'd like it, was excellent and fast moving)
3. John Q (never seen a bad movie that Denzel has been in)
4. The Waiting (if you're looking for a comedy)
5. Man on Fire (another Denzel one).
