Nani should be player of the tournament.

I don't think Griezmann has been great despite the goals.

Not really. France showed no purpose in attack whilst Portugal did. France were just passing around the back without knowing what to do. I rather have purposeful attacking then mindless possession.

France is not geared for possession play. They are a counterattacking side whose possession was forced upon by their role as favorite and host team.

Portugal was better for about 50 of the last 60 minutes, so how is it not deserved? They had by far the better chances in OT. France played like cowards, probably waiting for another penalty. Got Germany without three crucial starters, Portugal without Ronaldo, Ireland and Iceland. How cheap do you want to have it?`

To be fair the most amazing thing of this tournament has been Ronaldo managing Portugal in the last minutes. Made my day.

PORTUGAL! Well in, you underdogs. Can't wait to see them lift the trophy. Congratulations to all of our Portuguese members.

Portugal - UEFA European Champions 2016!

p.s. the silence in Spain is deafening over here!

The way he put his hands behind his back was unintentionally hilarious. Almost like a parody.

Portugal deserved that, but France could and should have been so much better, not just today, but the whole tournament. Weird selections from Deschamps throughout. A formation that doesn't really suit a number of the players, such as Pogba deepest in a midfield two when they could have gone 4-3-3 with Kante, Schneiderlin or even Cabaye as the sitting CM. Coman, Kante and Martial barely getting a look in. Gignac, and to a lesser extent Giroud, were expectedly poor but played a part in every game. They play on the counter but expecting Giroud to run in behind is laughable. Expecting Gignac to be the impact sub is even more laughable.

I was pretty excited to see this France team, but they were very disappointing, and they really weren't played to their strengths one bit.
