Final: Italy vs England

The players need to adapt now and realise the ref isn’t buying the minimal contact and fall to the ground.

Italy has nothing in attack aside from Cheisla. England are defensively solid, there's very little way that Italy win this outside of a long range screamer as Pickford is wank. I'd say it's already 10/1 for England to lose.

It's quite funny that's it's everything the English media hate.

But what makes it more funny is that it's likely the time they win. Kind of showing that it's the type of carry on that helps you win in big games.
And Italy haven't been diving all over the place? Funny how it's only an issue when England does it for you lot.

It pisses me off but yeah. It’s almost needed at the top level. Same with cynical fouls. You have to play the opponent and the referee at the top level.

4 minutes. Longest added time in the first half of the tournament, and no stoppages.

Might generously say Italy were stunned by the early goal, but they've been clueless so far.

I rather hope we signed him for the left. Someone needs to bench Rashford or at least show that he isn't unstoppable. Ideally we'll play him on the right and the left with whoever of Rashford and Greenwood is in form on the other side.
I’m subscribed to a similar school of thought, honestly. Sancho / Bruno / Greenwood - with Rashford and Amad switching in where form and personnel needs it.

Totally off topic though!

Good enough half. We started fantastically and I think we’ve kept them from creating anything significant all game.

Sancho would have run riot from the left with Luke Shaw’s support. I don’t understand the Mason Mount fetish for Southgate.
