Trigger the runs for the full backs when you need them, and just keep passing around the box where you can until it opens. A quick skill move should create a shooting chance here and there. I use the L1+ left then right on the right stick (if going from right to left). It does some glitchy little shuffle that's hard to defend against. You might know this already of course but its something I've only been doing recently.

Congrats really want to start a P&P United team but the lack of icons available means I'm just buying them off the market and that's boring. Think i'm going to start again on my other account today and see what i can build in a day, already have a WC heroes Kewell from the SBC they did so i'll try and build a team around him.

Have you done any of the advanced SBC's? If no i would do them with the 50k would probably only cost like 20k and you get 2 100k, 2 50k and some other decent packs. Started again yesterday and have been doing the one that's repeatable for the 45k and have packed Mbappe and enough fodder to complete the icon sbc, Payet, Bailly and that French CM. Only had 70k and managed to do it about 20 times yesterday, it's pretty good value if you have the patience.

Got to rank 5 in FUT Champs for the first time ever. Fecking delighted. Git 5 wins in a row last night and I needed 3W out of 6 to get to R5. 2 guys quit and gave me the win. God bless them both. At best I'd hope for 6 to 8 wins.

Had 5 or 6 weeks off, came back this week, did some rivals, drafts and a few of the SBCs etc. I added a few players to my team from 5 weeks ago and managed rank 4, possibly my best finish ever. And even then the game I lost were close and I had to give one or two away because the kids woke up mid game.

Right now, Payet and Bailly are amazingly good. Politano is useable at a good level but he's not a difference maker and you need to use him wisely. Kean feels slightly nerfed now but I had him 6 weeks ago and he's still in my team, he was ridiculously good when he came out. If he gets another special card then I'm 100% getting it.

Tried the single player draft, but twice I've tried it and it loses connection during the first half of the first game.
I keep going on the website and reclaiming the draft token, but is there anything I can do to stop it losing connection?
My internet is fine, and it never loses connection during division rivals matches or anything.
Annoying because I was enjoying playing with shit-hot players in the draft.

Anybody use gold Neymar recently? I've been considering adding him to my team. What's he like for pace and dribbling in game? I know his stats are a bit of a lie normally and he's always been a strong card in the past, even if you just had his gold version.
I have his gold. Dribbling is still great but he doesn’t feel that quick.
Doing the Centaur 80+ SBC. Done about 70 packs so far. Another 30 to go. Finally getting rid of so much fodder. Hopefully I’ll have enough to finish it.

This latest promo is so dead it’s almost comparable to the adidas promo they did last year.

You would hope so but you can go on Youtube now and watch people burn through 100's of packs and get nothing. There's always hope though, I did pack TOTY Marcelo a few years ago out of a 7.5k pack. They'll probably put in the nominee cards again which is pure pain when you can't differentiate on the web app and you pack one of them.

Haven't no but he looks like the perfect player for this game. High dribbling, 4/5 skills/wf, good traits and good pace too. Seems like a class card tbh.
Yeah his value is over 300k so must be decent. I'm happy with the team I have now, just saving for upgrades of the players in the squad

Would love for them to release more icons for longer, give us something to grind towards. Honestly would rather use a full team of icons then just the meta cards.
I typically play against friends or the computer, so meta cards aren't really on my radar which is a good thing.
Although in saying that, my LCM and RCM are about as meta as it gets

I got lucky in one of the 83x10 sbcs so i was able to finish him after spending a total of 300k i think. I started playing 4321 this weekend just to change it up abit. Balanced tactics with stay back defenders, 2 stay back cms and Zidane as a CM on get into box. 3 forwards on stay forward, central and get in behind. Its been working alright, lost my first game and then won 4 in a row.
With Zidane he's taken abit of getting used to, i now just triangle through ball with him to Al-Owairan at LF who i trigger runs with. Once Al-Owairan is level with the chasing defender i just press triangle and Zidane does the most beautiful through ball time and time again haha. I don't sprint with Zidane, i just let him craft passes and make runs for me to chip through balls to etc.
In the 4312 i would play him left cm or cam tbh, depends where your strength lies elsewhere. He's a good presence as a defensive cm but if you're like me you're gonna want him in attack, which is why i have Guendozi and Park as my defensive cms.
Also, i get loads of goals from corners with zidane. My routine is inswinging. You want the aiming line to aim at the penalty spot, the aim on the ball to be one point less than the "low inside foot" option. Literally when your going from the top of the ball down and the description changes then thats the spot. Then press L1 to choose the attacker in the box. Keep pressing L1 til you find. Zidane. Move him to the front post on the 6 yard line area. Full power it the corner and boshhh. Zidane goal
