Gaming Fifa 2009

Anyone got any bad habbits on this?

I chase the ball around sometimes, by holding the pressure button and it never works...creates gaps for the other team... I know I do it, but when I'm in a game I can't stop it... I start playing well as soon as it stops

Passing the ball off the screen, presuming one of your team is there...need to stop that.
 
I've noticed certain people I play ALWAYS cut inside, so much so that I move the defender inside before he even does it.

Anoyone fiddle with the custom tactics? I went through a spell and it didn't really do much good for me.

Custom formation is about as far as i get.
 
Well the other team can play further up the pitch, the best way to defend in Fifa is to hold the ball and attack and put the other team under pressure. Force their fullbacks to be clearing it out rather then passing it out.
 
Don't think this has been mentioned, but I really cannot follow the radar at all in be a pro. Any way I can tweak the settings?

Yeah, it takes me a few minutes to suss an opponent and usually from then on I've got their number. If they cut inside a lot like you said my guy will already be there and he'll run straight into me. Some even get on the wing and try and be amazingly random by going left, turning back, turning left again, etc.. trying to trick me to get a cross in but I always seem to follow them to perfection.

Anyone ever played someone so shit that it actually has been hard for you to score? For example, I would double bluff thinking this was a smart guy, but because they are shit I realize only one bluff was enough to fool them. Hopefully explained that right :lol:

Ive lost my old account...ive got 2 ps3's now, obviously both not mine, with 2 new psn accounts...
 
Right need some tips, im still hopeless at this!

1) My defending is horrible, Id go 3-0 in the first half only to blow it, mainly due to some seriously stupid defensive blunders. So many holes are drilled through my defence, its unbelievable how much space my opponents get.

2) How do most people score? I have this habit of always building up from the wings, not very successful when it comes to direct play.
 
yeah thats right..i dont mind unranked or ranked im not bothered about my ranking anymore
