Same here, although my game finished 0 - 0.

The game is truly amazing, everything i hoped it to be.

Be A Pro is just wow. The computer actually holds it own. I'm at half time currently, i'm Berba, but United have been playing like just that - United. I'm playing against Stoke, but they haven't had a sniff of the ball, the computer just keeps passing it round looking for an opening. I've already hit the bar from distance, and Rooney has had few shots also. It's definately not like the previous modes where you have to be involved the goal in some way for your team to actually score.

Rooney tracks back, slides and robs the stoke defender in possession runs with the ball and slides it into Berbatov (Me) who slots it away. Rooney winning the ball looked so Rooney-like it was unbelievable. Scholes just missed a screamer on the edge of the box also. This is too good.
 
Page 30 of this thread is disturbing. You're actually allowing a computerised football game to replace real life.

2 - 0! Nani with a screamer that took a wild deflection! Again, completely realistic, and i wasn't involved in the goal at all this time. I can see me having hours of fun on this mode.

Second day of the season against Boro, Manucho lays the ball to the edge of the area and I curl a beauty into the bottom corner with Possebon :drool:
 
dumb bastards at game have sent the ps3 version when i ordered the 360 version, it even says "fifa 09 (x360)" on the fecking packing label. :mad:
 
Picking someone like Possebon or Rafael will mean you play for the teams reserves to begin with before breaking into the first team. Very good imo

Igot the headline One Man Show after my two goal display :D
 
Playing 10 Vs 10

First thing I did is set up a goal

If one player pauses, his player becomes cpu controlled and the game carries on. If more then one, it pauses for real.

So far everyone has stayed in position quite well, except our rightback who keeps running after the ball like a sheep.
 
Started a Be A Pro season as Welbeck. First game against Stoke didn't go so well, drew at Home 0 - 0 and missed a few sitters. Second game, 0 - 3 away to West Brom, Rooney with opener and 2 from me in the second. Blew my chance at a hat trick by laying it back to Ronaldo when through on goal, who hit the post, to my digust.
 
Dunno if anyone has posted this but read today that from midnight tonight until Sunday midnight Tesco are selling FIFA 09 on both 360 and PS3 for £29.71, can't verify it but I am gonna go have a butch tomorrow for that price.

Great through ball from a guy and I was one on one, curled it wonderfully round the keeper

Just played 10 vs 10. No lag. But full of wankers. Quick matches are pretty much pointless is you wanna play properly.

I went right back out of choice, and my mate went left back, but it was pretty much us two defending against 10. We still won 5 - 3 as well.
 
This game is realistic as feck!!

Did a game Barcelona vs Liverpool, went 2-0 down after 10 mins, managed to get to 2-2 before half-time, then it was 2-2 until full-time. Liverpool were unbelievably hard to break down in the second-half, they never put a wrong with their passing and were always creating chances.

Extra-time came and I scored 3 minutes in and went that happened it completeley knocked the stuffing out of Liverpool. After that they constantly gave the ball away, giving away free-kicks and just being generally shit.

Ending up winning 5-2 :lol:
 
Just played my first match on Be A Pro mode. Chose to be Anderson.

First game was against Blackburn at Old Trafford, we destroyed them 4-0, I scored 1 and assisted 2:cool:

I do drift out of position a lot though, and often get caught ball watching, which I'll have to improve on.

It was only one game i suppose. My second wasn't too bad, because me and too other mates were in defence.

My made some insane runs up the right wing overlapping Messi with Alves, was responsible for conceding a goal though.

Just had an epic first online match

He was Arsenal and I was Spurs, it was incredibly even, he took the lead and I pulled one back with Darren Bent in the second half.

The it went to pens and I eventually won 11 - 10 :lol: We both had chances to win it, he hit the bar with his spot kick and then a bit later I could've won it with Woodgate but it got saved. Eventually I saved one from Van Persie and scored mine with Pavlyuchenko.
