One win away from D1 now, skill rating the last week has flown up to 2384 now (probably less people playing, however I am going to take credit as I have been using a newish team in the last week as well).

I’m usually a div 1/2 level player for what it’s worth but I guess I will be stuck using basic gold OP style players for the remainder as I won’t be pumping money in for packs. I’ll probably do it RTG style.

I don't think this Fifa is worth buying if you truly value your mental health, despite the countless patches it's still fundamentally broken and the lag is still absolutely horrible online. If you can resist, I'd skip it at the stage and see how Fifa 20 goes.
That was the reason I stayed away from 19 because I’d had enough of EA and their BS. So the exact same prob,ems still exist?? That’s Unbelievable so so bad from EA. If that’s the case then I think you’ve made my mind up I’ll forget 19 completely.
Tbh I’m not even missing fifa in the slightest I just saw the cheap price and was tempted but I’ll stay away.
Yeah give it a miss, you'll be so frustrated playing it from scratch now, every man and their dog have ridiculous teams, but the biggest hurdle is the gameplay and scripting. I'm only still paying to grind to get to the team I'm aiming for, then I'll quickly get bored no doubt.
Switched to 3-5-2 and haven’t lost in about 15 games. So far so good.
Yeah the scripting was a killer in other FIFA’s, really frustrating and it made the game more of a chore than fun.

Chose Forest Green and did the takeover so I had a bit of cash. It doesn't ruin it because most players still don't want to come. Bought a young striker who's only on 69 but has a massive potential.
Anyway, turns out the opposing team AI players can defend as well as ever, and their keepers will charge you down like Schmikes in his prime. This would be fine but no one can get a shot on target. I've hit the woodwork 3 times, the keeper 20 times, missed 4 one on ones, and an open header from 3 yards out. It's impossible to score

It's dirt cheap on the PS Store now cause there's an EA discount event on so I picked up the Ultimate Edition for £35 instead of £85 or £90 or whatever it is.
Should've just got the normal one cause I've no idea how to play Ultimate Team and probably never will.

The stupidity of the AI is absolutely astounding sometimes. It finds new ways of shocking me every game.
Can someone please make me a team out of those players. I was doing great using 3-5-2 on division rivals but had my worst weekend league ever so sacked that off.

So after a few short weeks with my German/hybrid team I have sold all my players again and have 603k in the bank, I had been saving to get the swap Goretzka but I've not sure he would have inprovim my midfield. Might go back to premier League as it's the league I know best, but players can be over prices.

Bought Ribery 89. Hes a LW but i use him as CAM and shifted Reus to the LW.
Game changer. Turns so fast and controls the ball like messi. Low stamina and ends up exhausted but thats not a deal breaker for me. Ive scored a couple of Solo goals a la Fifa 14 with him also.

Not played properly for a while, as apex has taken over for me.
Looking to qualify for this weekend league though so been playing a couple of games a day. Quality level seems to have dropped massively as I'm breezing through div 3 with ease.

Yeah that looks a boring midfield tbh. Consider Pogba or even De Bruyne if you want a PL team. I've got Pogba, Keane and 86 Doucoure and I'm considering bringing in CL Lingard to replace the latter. Want to go more attacking and just enjoy the game instead of worrying about being overly defensive.
I've only kept Gundogan in there due to him being untradable, thinking pogba or KDB but are they really worth upwards of 160K? Also considering Augero for striker, anyone had experience with him?
Pogba is really good on it, i doing you'll get many actual midfielders better than him tbh, apart from icons. I've never used KDB but played him a lot. I suspect Pogba is more fun to use due to his size, strength and dribbling.
I was selling my Felipe Anderson IF yesterday, the 88 version, and saw others list him low and he'd go for as little as 79k. Mine went for about 240k, but if anyone wants him then you might be able to snipe yourself a deal.
