Skill rating has plummeted from 1850 to 1505. Can’t win for love nor money.
What do you think it is? Bad play, improved opponents or EA interference? I often go from the top of the division skill level right near relegation then go on a winning run and i don't think it's always my fault. Players seem to hit "bad form" right near promotion to the next division.
Not done it yet, but Im going to do it. Even if i dont use him I'll use the card for a prime icon SBC or something. Cheap 89 rated player. I have some in forms knocking about my club so shouldnt cost much
I was winning and playing well then I chopped and changed and now I can’t really fit anyone in their proper positions. I got rid of Nesta to do the Nedved SBC but I wish I kept him and got rid of Rijkaard instead.
Everyone falls into the trap of chopping and changing when they lose some games, which probably prolongs the poor form. I do it all the time.
Is Rijkaard no good? I've only got the Keane icon, never has a big enough pack pull to even consider buying one or doing an SBC after Keane. I'm happy with my team now though so the next upgrades will provably cost me 500k plus, so I'm going to start grinding coins somehow.
Probably less than 10k if you have an IF, maybe cost nothing as the requirements are so low. Everybody should be doing this SBC really.

Yeah I paid 20k for the in form and that was it. Crazy cheap considering the packs and falcao being 89 (even though I got feck all from them).
Currently on 9 wins with 15 games to go. I’d bet all of the money in the world that I still finish on my standard 14 wins.
Maybe it's because he's been my first good player (I was running Balotelli, Alcacer, Stuani or Pato for a while) but Falcao seems great, since I did his sbc I've won 4 games in a row,easier than ever and got promoted back to div7, but looks like I can keep climbing.
Also, I swapped tactics into a 4-1-3-2 and haven't messed with individual options, link-up play seems better than ever so maybe I was tinkering too much with roles,
Dani Garcia would be a beast if he had pace, my CDM no longer falls to the ground on contact. Parolo has better stats but he looked weaker, and Rochina TOTW has been a surprise, I started running him instead of Banega/Jonathan Viera and he looks good, even though he doesn't have Banega's "magic", he even scored a header vs Halloween Fellaini

Finished on 16 wins. 41212 is fine Vs good players with similar teams but I have to change to 4231 or 433 for next time. Against the better players with better teams 41212 cant compete. I backed out of about 8 games when losing as I didn't have time to play. I wanted 17 but lost to some sweaty guy in extra time. 5 or 6 legends, FB Ibra, wasting time in the corner in the normal 90 and in extra time
This one? Will have to try it. Any tips for how you actually take the penalty? Terms of power/type of shot etc? Or is it simply just making them guess the wrong way? I wish there was a better penalty system somehow!
I wouldn't worry bout power, not as if you see one blasted and keeper cant save it due to too much power. So just 1 bar or whatever. If that method fails you I will be surprised. I wouldn't change it for anything.
I mean if anything just practice the timing of making a choice at the very last second as the delay between you choosing where you’re putting it and striking the ball is still too long as all anyone does is watch the head position of your player.

I’m tempted to buy the HL version as I see his pace has been massively upgraded so he could be an option for the left when I get back to playing. I was trying to buy him before the upgrade as I thought he might go up but with this his price has gone up by about 100k so got to raise the funds.
Was thinking of selling Varane for the HL Hernandez as I think he might now be the better card.

Crespo is really good. He delivers exactly what his stats would suggest. Quick, strong, smooth and agile on the ball, great in the air and great shooting.
Another equally good option would be Butragueno. I’ve tried his mid version, and assuming the prime is slightly better than the mid I’d say he’s about as good as prime Crespo. Weaker obviously, but faster and a better dribbler. Also 5* weak foot. Doesn’t have 4* skills though.

The game simply wouldn’t allow me to get to gold 3 last night. Was only one win away and all my remaining matches were against icon filled teams, along with CR7. Was absolutely ridiculous. In one match I was three goals up and was still dragged to extra time and beat on penalties.
I had a really bad run of that on Saturday. Which just shows the bronze bench thing is a load of crap. Just nothing you can do about it apart from try not lose your shit and keep doing what you normally do. I did not do this and completely lost my shit when losing to these OP teams

I like AJ3's an idiots RTG. He's not shouty, and just shows a bit of gameplay, what he has invested in and his rewards each week but its good to see his team improve week to week without changing every player every time
