Coman futties is free so why don't you get him, try him and go from there?
Not sure i want to do the challenge, takes some time. Promes is free as well and Lozano is quickly done

as many times before I have sold all my players, excluding 88 CB Witsel and 86 Varane and now have 1,047m to build with. tempted to build a full French squad.
Untradeable:
96 Pique
95 Torres
94 Iniesta
92 Modric
91 CDM Fabinho
91 Stuani
88 Onana
87 Sane
86 Lucas
85 Odegaard
Advice would be appreciated
I already kind of had that as my team but couldn't get a LW I liked from La Liga or Spanish to link with Torres. Im possibly going hybrid to have Pique and Alba at left side and build from thereGo anti- meta and use pique, Torres and Iniesta to build a possession Spain team

86 Varane CB
86 Pavard RB
90 Kante CM
91 Fabinho CM
No CAM yet
88 F.Anderson LW
87 Tony Martial ST

Does 93 Hazard work for chem? Should just have enough for him
How did you manage that?
How did you manage that?
I’ve no idea how people do that. Does it take much effort?Up to 5.8 million transfer profit for the month so far, crazy. Managed to add PIM George Best and Prime Gullit.

Effort to get it up and running. Filling your trade pile and selling those 100 things for profit. Then restocking as things sell. It doesn't feel like a chore if you get me. Patience and you will make a fortune
I love how EA latest patch say they improving the servers for July you know the period where the servers aren’t as busy because quite a lot have stopped playing.
The only way they can truly test the servers for Fifa 20 is if they do a open beta and invite everyone. I appreciate them trying to fix gameplay responsiveness but it’s going to take a lot more than that to fix fifa.
Guys I'm getting tired of this shit. How am I supposed to press? Should I hold sprint? Should I use contain (X)?
Welcome to Fifa and defending. Its best to not play too high, keep your fullbacks on stay back at all time and choose a formation like 4231 where you can choose a DM to stay back at all times and cover centre too. You can set a CAM to stay forward to support your attacks while you do this.Sorry to interrupt the FUT chat. More noob questions here.
I accepted the advise of immediately playing online. I'm quite surprised that there's always an opponent ready to go, since I was expecting 99% of the players to be playing with their FUT teams against each other.
Anyway, I went all the way up to Div6, but then got demoted twice in a row to Div8 (got 3 losses for loosing internet connection, f*cking ISP sabotage).
Problem 1:
Defending through passes: A lot of times my defender is actually closer to the ball and no matter how much I sprint, the attacker always gets there first most of the times. Any trick for this?
Problem 2:
Defending with the defenders: Sometimes my midfield get's overrun and I have to pick a defender. But it seems almost an exploit for my opponent. If I do aggressive pressing, the defender will basically do some random move and stays out of the play. If I do "passive pressing", it seems like the defender only shadows the attacker without any action beyond that.
Not to mention defending on the wings: it seems like the full back is an easy prey, while in "real life" it's actually more easier to defend the flanks (I was a fullback myself until 14 y.o. and I can assure you that). How do you guys handle this 1-on-1 situations? Praying for the best ?
Problem 3:
High pressing: this is really getting on my nerves. I "designed" a system that puts the defensive line very high and instructed players to do aggressive pressing, but yet it seems that in goal kicks / throw-ins the team just forgets about it and give the opposition tons of space. Any trick?
Problem 4:
Midfield bullying:
Whenever I face some teams, my midfield gets easily bullied (France, for example). I know french midfield is physically very powerful, but nowhere near enough to basically out muscle any midfielder who holds possession. Any trick to shield the ball a little better against midfield bullies?

Problem 1 is caused by problem 3. Find a balance that suits you. Everyone would like to think they can press and play modern football but in reality its a game, so you need to find out what works for you and what doesn't.
Usesecond press! Second press is R1 or RB depending on which console. Example: Opponent has the ball on the wing. In a normal circumstance I would have control of my CM to cover inside and be holding RB to press the winger. If I think I can take the ball, switch and make a tackle.
Just keep playing and finding out what works and what doesn't work.

As other posters said, a lot of your problems stem from high pressing. 1, 2 and 3 are all correlated and you need to find the right balance. The issue in Fifa 19 is there are a lot of ways people exploit the game. If you leave the middle open, people will kill you with first time shots. If you leave the wide area open, people will kill you with crosses (especially the tornado crossing or just volleying the ball to the center, ridiculous overpowered move this year).
Then there is some things you cant explain, that just happen. Like your defenders doing stupid stuff, midfielders running out of position, CBs running forward etc, even though you said they should sit back. Or as you said pressing not working sometimes. Maybe tít can help if you switch it on off manually through quick in game settings. I dont press high, unless i chase a goal in the last 20 minutes and open up completely, going for the goal/win. If you press high, you will get through balls behind your defence and even if you run with the player, manual defending isnt always rewarding in this game. You can make tacklings, but out of 10 tackles you will recover the ball maybe 2 or 3 times sometimes, the ball bounces to the opponent too many times.
Experiment with different tactics, players and settings. I play with a back 5 now and am happy with it, it gives me the opportunity to attack with wingbacks, but also through the middle, without leaving the defence exposed.
In terms of shielding the ball, in the past you could easily do that, but nowadays it isnt as efficient. So if you are up against physically strong players, you dont have a lot of chances if you try to outbully them. You need to quick pass around them or dribble. You usually know who you are up against, so you can design your team and tactics to these sort of teams. I have more tactics, so if i am up against someone with a lot of width, i use a different tactic than against someone coming through the middle with Gullit, Vieira and Ronaldo for example. Certain players are just ridiculously good in this game, better than their stats or rating suggests.
The game isnt perfect and not everything works perfectly, the options are also not great in detail, but it is more designed for the casual gamer rather than the detail obsessed soon becoming pro manager. I would love to have more detailed options, especially defensively, but they arent there.

The second press was a mint tip! I'm closing the space 100 times better. Many thanks. Had to switch the sprint button with the second press button because I prefer to use the index finger to sprint (yeah, you can consider me an old school gamer)
It’s no guide really, the last days flipping of IFs as an example has been very good for profit.
It’s literally buying low and selling higher that is the essence.
There are so many cards though. How do you even identify which players to pick?
any 84+ informs you can get under 18k.
You have to put a bit of time in at the start and it helps to have enough cash to fill your trade pile, this is my profit since Saturday night reset, so 72 hours roughly. I should add it has slowed down remarkably since early today bar a bit of a boost when Vidal was announced.
I am on the other forum too and am lost I have never delved into the whole FIFA speak so I feel like its a foreign language there and I am translating bit by bit as I go. Have you found there is a good time to buy and sell or is it really just a long look through whats for sale?
Got my team sorted for the rest of the game. Play 4222 with Havertz and Eusebio up top, they are both absolutely lethal in front of goal.
