Packed IF Belfodil from the Bundesliga from WL rewards, nothing special, but someone bought him for his max bin of 70k. I checked on futbin and he is only going for 12.5k so i got extremely lucky

Before I did that Colombia challenge I was in division 1 and flying. My skill rating has gone from just under 2000 to under 1650 with the same team, now in division 3. What on earth.

I am trying to limit my spending so not buying any players and playing with what I have in the club. The weekend league is gonna be grim!

Im guessing there will only be 2 or 3 tops as they will drag it on a bit. I have 5 at the minute! Still undecided about whether to get Costa, or Pepe, Werner, Roberton, or just base icon

So I did the UCL Marquee match ups the other day. Out walked 95 Messi. Tried him for a game or 2 and he was terrible, so sold him for 900k.
Bought 90 Petit and did the Blanc SBC as I had shearer in my club who was terrible for me compared to my other strikers. So this is now my team....
Which changes to this in game...
Petit and Blanc at the base of the midfield are just unreal. Replaced Doucoure and N'Dombele who were great and the feeling is 10x better.

Unreal P-Nut! I am going to get myself Butragueno within the next week or so then aim for Ronaldo. Team is weak in loads of areas but I can deal with that if I have a banging strike force

It would have to be an icon to keep Ibra on 8 chem. It grates on me to, believe me. Think the aim is to get best to replace Gomez and then everyone will be on 10 chem.
Sadly had to sell prime Scholes. Was fun to play with but just not good enough for the price. Bought RTTF Kondogbia before their match last night and he’s already gone up 50k since they won 3-1 in the away leg. He’s a monster in midfield

Hoping i can do the 14 Swap players this month to get that incredible Costa card. That will leave me with 200k once i sell Fabian to improve my team. Any suggestions? Owen and Gullit are untradeable. Allan is incredible, he’s virtually Kante just a fraction of the price, infact when you compare their stats Allan trumps him in many of the key stats. Sokratis has really impressed me but i can see me spending my coins on a better CB and keeper.

Tempted to try that Allan card out. I did the Ramsey SBC and think hes bang average at best. He isn't great at CDM, CM hes alright and CAM he isn't agile enough for me
Yeh I considered it but wasn’t really sure due to having worse dribbling, agilty and passing. Would save myself 20k though.
I have still got him in my team surrounded by icons, I'm keeping him until I can upgrade to 88 Cancelo next week
Bought the 90 CAM Rui Costa for 500k, as good as Chiesa was for a 30k card he isnt good enough against the icon CDMs that everyone has, and in a 4231 wide the CAM is so important as pretty much everything goes through him. All i can say is wow. I hadnt used an icon yet this fifa, but they really do make a difference. Its like an extra player, he is just everywhere in the final third

Can’t stop getting done by goals straight from kick off. I reckon 5 of the past 7 games i have been 1-0 down inside 2 minutes. Kick off and a few passes later all thats needed is a trigger to the top corner. Last game it happened i battled and scored a great equaliser for 1-1 with 5 mins left til FT, of course he kicks off and one minute later it’s in the net before I’ve had a chance to tackle him.

I can relate. I wouldn’t look too much into rivals results and rating. Rivals is very scripted and wins and losses often come together.The Halloween cards are boosted this weekend costa 99 shot and Koke can dribble again
From 8-2 to 13-10. Standard. I’m convinced now that there’s a block on my account that says I can’t finish any higher than gold 3.I’ve had my best start to a weekend league though

I don't know how you guys put yourself through weekend league most weekends, I've played a few this year and found it horrific and a huge sweat fest. I gave up playing fifa around 1-2 months ago and haven't looked back, the game is toxic and piss poorly made.
I'm not even sure I'll buy fifa 20, the amount of times we say the game has made vast improvements when playing the demo or beta, 4 weeks into the game cycle and EA have ruined it with patches. They're happy enough to take peoples money but don't put any of that money into improving the in game mechanics or sorting out the scripting.

I copied Danny Taylor’s custom tactics in mid week and have been unbeaten in rivals and currently 10-0 in the WL. Playing so much better now. Not lost since I changed custom tactics and formation but I’m sure it won’t last long

On my phone so struggling to find the link but if you type Danny Taylor custom tactics on YouTube it will come up. I’ve only really used the 4-2-2-2 so far but it suits my players and has opened up so many attacking options. Might also because I used a 4-2-3-1 before that and was very restrictive

Changed up my team again. Added a few extra icons in as well as I realised with a few tweaks I could afford a few extras, and seeing as I have untradeable FFS Sancho and OTW Felipe Anderson I could sell Perisic and Suso for a bit of extra coins. Also sold off FFS Bentancur and got 88 Veron, sold HL Skriniar and replaced him with 87 Desailly, and sold of HL Alex Sandro and got his 88 IF instead. Gone 8 wins in a row since the switch and the team feels so fluid now.

Who was it wondering what to do with surplus FUT swap players? I said fifa will probably bring out a sbc for them and they've brought it out now
Started 10-10, my worst so far. Changed up my tactics and won 10 from 10 to get 20 wins game is ridiculous.
