Suarez is surely better as a striker than Costa? Otherwise it looks insane. Are you switching formation in game? Ronaldo is wasted when playing so wide imo.Packs were fecking garbage, IF James somewhat salvaged it.

I've really been enjoying Belotti for the past week or so. I think he might be the best striker I've used.
Want the fecker to get an IF. I prefer Icardi SIF and Immobile SIF to him, but a single IF could change it.
I have Icardi alongside him and though he's been decent I'm not all that keen to try his inform. Belotti has 34 in 35 while icardi has 18 in 35. Going to try Higuain later on.
I dont know, i think Icardi has 170 goals in 180 games for me. Most of the time he is pretty good in terms if positioning and ruthlesness. And his headers are great, corner goals almost every game. A tad bit too slow and bad at dribbling is the downside.
Higuain is also someone i havent tried, his stats dont look like value for money to me
Yeah I switch to 41212, Bale Ronaldo as ST, Rui as CAM, Petit as DM.
The 5 icons which I have picked and in the position I have picked them means any player will have full chem. I'm not liking Rui and Goretzka from that team, Goretzka can be replaced with a gold player but Rui has to be replaced with a central icon for the rest of them to get full chem. So any suggestions as to their replacement would be appreciated.
I used Belotti for couple of months at start, he's possibly the best cheap ST. Just slap Hunter on him and you're good to go. That 5 star weak foot is also worth its weight in gold.

I have played 30 games this weekend and that is me done for the weekend. The game play has been terrible today and have not enjoyed one minute of it, Friday and Saturday was fine and the game felt very smooth but today it has just been awful. It's impossible to defend when there is lag, when you are switching players and the player you switch to stops for a fraction of a second it gives the opponent that extra bit of space to get past the defender.
Managed to get 14 wins in those 30 games and it being my first time playing the weekend league I'm very happy with that. 4 of my games went to penalties and I lost all of them so with a bit of luck I could have gotten a couple of wins in those too and could have pushed on for gold 3.

I played 20 on Friday night and 20 on Saturday night my first WL and I was so fecking tired the first night from concentrating
Not the prime version but I have the 87 version as a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 set up. His shooting is very good and if he gets a yard of space in or around the box he usually scores. The big downside is his strenght, he gets musceled off the ball far to easy.

I should've tried the loan version first but traded in Rui Costa and now there's no going back. I guess I can always trade him for Rio further down the line if I don't get on with him.

For H2H, they'll probably update it quickly. Maybe a few days.
I don't think Sanchez is a great player in FIFA(FUT specifically), but for H2H, he'll be one of the better ones.

Changed my lineup again. Enjoyed the Serie A side but something wasnt clicking, the midfield wasnt working for me, which left the defence massively exposed, and the attack was limp against halfway decent defenders.
Its still a majority Serie A side, but I have removed Florenzi, Scream Khedira and SIF Icardi (great striker, averaged a goal a game for me in D1/2 and WL for 70 games, but was part of the problem in my buildup play, he'd finish everything but never seemed to make runs of his own accord)
I now run IF Ricardo Pereira at rb, IF Danilo Pereira at cdm (an absolute monster of a cdm, best I have used all year which I didnt realise until I tried loads of others, and ended up going back to him and feeling how much better he is) and TOTGS Andre Silva as striker with SIF Immobile. Both have 85 pace, with hunter makes it something like 97, Silva like Icardi has a goal a game ratio so far, but his runs are more dangerous and from that I am finding that Perisic and Immobile are getting more space too.
Combined with the new custom tactics (using the reddit post as a guide) I am back to scoring 3-4 goals a game, and conceding far less chances

I think ganes can be won and lost by custom tactics. They make a massive difference. I just updated mine and I’m doing a lot better.

Ive never messed about with custom tactics. Will do tonight though, i like to close down and hassle the opponent and counter quickly. I usually try team pressing, counter and high pressure on attacking mentality though i have no idea if thats a horror show tactically or not. It seems to work mostly. @Macern might try yours out.

Anyone else getting insane input lag? The game is unplayable.
It’s probably either your internet or your monitor. Make sure you’re playing on a gaming monitor or at least a TV that has a ‘game mode’ option, else there’ll be a lot of input lag. If not then you can open up a windows pc, go to the search function, type ‘cmd’ and hit enter. A black window will pop up. Type ‘ping utas.fut.ea.com’ and hit enter. If you’ve got above 50ms ping on average then that’s probably why you’re experiencing input lag.

Thanks, that's a good tip, I'll try that in a sec. Just playing on a normal tv. I play on game mode already and it's been fine until half an hour ago. The last game was absolutely unplayable. It cost me the game, was 2-0 up and lost on pens.
I would think it'll be out before the 1st weekend league in February.
I know everyone shits on people that use sweaty players, but they don't give you much incentive not to. Higuain wasn't doing the business so I sold my Serie A team and built a cheap team to play with while I do some trading. Jesus already has 17 goals in 12 games. Why would you bother upgrading?
Jesus is absolutely broken. In fact, many of the PL players are. Jesus, Martial, Bakayoko and Valencia off the top of my head

A newbie PMed me and asked about the market and if/when prices are going down? He’s doing the last step in the Costa SBC and doesn’t want to finish off while the prices are so high. I don’t really pay attention to the market. Anyone here who can help him?
