They will likely get around it by bringing in position modifier cards. Rare of course and expensive.
 
Had to rage quit my first match since I can't remember when. Fecking outrageous, the fact that his keeper was saving everything was annoying but that happens but his attacking patterns were so predictable and I was able to cut off or make tackles every single time but every single time the ball would bobble back to him.

Eventually the ball bounced around enough for the fecking cnut to get a clear shot and score. Piss off.
 
Do they think it gets you a better match?

I keep getting matched against 78 rated squads without any players less than mid 80s. Packing their bench with bronze?
 
Just had the most annoying loss. First half completely destroyed this guy, was comfortable, game connection was perfect. Second half suddenly the stupidest lag and biggest button delay, the game would like freeze for a second then my player just runs straight for a while and gives it away and I can't do anything about it. He ended up winning because I could barely control my players. Biggest load of shite ever

Not sure, my mate claims you get more coins in match rewards if your rating is lower but it can only be a couple if true. I play with 2 teams so most of my bench is players from my other team with 1 or 2 others.

Odd WL for me so far. Won 2 of my first 9 but have won 6 of the last 7 since. 8/16 so far which isn't bad for me aiming for 18 wins and gold 3.

Not had one game go to ET yet either.

I had a shit start last night too. Only won 4 of my first 10.

Turned it around and on course for G1/2 now.
 
Started off 3 wins and 1 loss and since then I've had awful lag. 4 and 4 now. Don't feel like playing more tonight but I won't have time to play 30+ tomorrow so I want to get another like 5 in at least. No idea why it's lagging so badly
 
Had a shit start lost 2 but won my last 3. Strangely enough both the 2 I've lost were against absolute garbage who I battered and the other 3 I won were much tighter games.

I agree with what most have said about sweaty high press abusers though, possession game definitely very effective.
 
It doesn't need width (the st's often go wider anyway to stretch defences), the players make amazing runs in behind and also CM's are always available for passes around the edge of the box for triangles. It's a dream to play quick passing and to open up defences easily.

IF Mertens MOTM Son

Mertens, Hazard and Son are exceptionally nimble.
 
Played like shite tonight. Threw away a good 6 easy wins through wasteful finishing then being frustrated and letting them in at the other end to win. Should have stopped playing an hour ago probably as I was rushing everything but whatever. 8 wins and 9 losses. Awful. At least it stopped lagging. As long as I get gold 2 I'll be ok.
 
I was 22-9, played a game, was shite, lost.

Almost gave up on reaching elite 3 but I struggled through the next 2-3 games, winning by close margins due in part to my shite finishing.

Bought Dybala for the last 5-6 games and that all changed. Fecking beast linked up sexually with Mertens and Icardi. Free flowing footie was amaze balls.

Got elite 3 with a game to spare

I know you want the pro's answer, but in regards to default camera, I find it much harder to dribble using co-op camera because it's so far away from the action.

Want answers from anyone tbh. That's interesting, but I feel like the advantage you get in terms of easier dribbling is not worth it at all considering how counter-attacking is much more difficult when you can't see all the runs being made.

I don't use the default. I use tele zoom 0 and height 10.

And DDG was not good for me when I used him. Spills too many rebounds.
 
Finished 39-1. Wanted that repeat 40-0, but a fecking weak foot near post longshot from Walcott gave me a loss. Was fuming.

Gameplay wasn't good this weekend.
 
Need 6 wins in 9 to get Elite 3. Always always bottle the last stretch.

Will get my standard gold 1 most likely but it's the hope that kills me each weekend! I always seem to come up against Ronny. So sick of him. It's like there's an invisible forcefield around him

Anyone else watched David meylers (hull player) YouTube videos?

I stumbled on his account yesterday by accident, it's a little weird watching an actual professional footballer play the game, his content is entertaining enough, plus he's a decent at the game too.
 
Its absurd, the game is unplayable at times. I have played 4 games today all home on 5 bars, the first was so smooth and responsive, a joy to play and I won. but the other 3 and especially the last one I just played were a joke. It was literally slow motion, it was broken.

It's encouraging to hear that someone as good as yourself recognises how different the game plays at on different days. I'm guessing it's server latency rather than EA tweaking sliders.
 
Ultra-aggressive pressure needs to be seriously punished. The team doing should be running on empty after about 60 minutes.
 
Back to back relegation for me this weekend after just getting better players.

I was the away team every single game and it played like shit. Times like this make me very close to giving up on Fifa.
 
Think ive lost like 5 penalty shoot outs here so far. Frustrating. Especially when you dive the right way but the keeper doesnt save it completely
 
Started playing UT first time properly all year.

When I logged on I had a 12 wins 27 losses. Now I have 28 wins 28 losses.

First 20 games - 15-5. Second 20 games - 10-10.

Same shit every weekend. What's more annoying is you see the ELO in effect. Lose 3 games in a row to stacked teams with Ronaldo, Bale etc. and then I get to face standard Premier League/La Liga teams with no special cards where I get a few easy wins back. Few wins in a row, back to stacked teams.

I managed to get Elite 3 for the first time so was ecstatic about that. i was already wobbling needing 6 wins from 9 but just about scrapped it with some tight game.
 
I have resorted to pace now for WL. I am sick of building up well only for smalling/bailly to overpower the striker running onto a through ball. So in goes Vardy/Martial/Musa etc just to get some wins
 
Was getting a bit short on wins earlier so when a goal up heading into the last 5 minutes I'm straight into the corners to shield it. Makes it better when it's against someone who's been doing pointless tricks all game.

Yeah their dedicated servers are pretty shit too.

The gameplay in FUT seasons is much more responsive.
