After a week or two at this I've just done my first daily tourney. Took 5 or 6 attempts but eventually qualified for the Weekend league.
Playing a French team. Just got Martial Ribery and Kante, Fekir is also class. Remy has served me well but i feel I need an upgrade.

Anyone else suffering with major lag since the update?
Literally can't find a single game without lag. If I definitely qualify when I get my rewards then I'll just sack it off as this is tedious. Planning on making elite monthly rewards this month so need to play even with this crap connection I'll be able to win half my games I reckon.

On xbox. My last game was lag free but a few before that were sluggish and a bit laggy. I read somewhere that if you play as the home team lag doesn't affect you as much, I'm not sure how true that is though.

Played one game, no lag at all
87 dribbling and low 80 pace. I've deadeye or sniper iirc so shooting is a bit improved. He's class but seems to be regularly injured/fatigued.
What time are rewards usually out today from the weekend league?

I simply cant qualify for the weekend league. Im not that bad I'm Div 4 slowly working my way up but i always come up against someone with crazy players or some Fifa bullshit happens.

Found it tricky myself, my team is still very average 2k - 30k players. Beat most but always seem to draw a team with 4 or 5 sbcs or IF monsters. You clearly play a bit better but their defenders beast and they'll get one or two goals by simply running past you or spamming shit shots.
Now I'm in hopefully do decent and just auto qualify.
Can't believe I haven't practiced the low driven shot before now. Just knowing that I've got a reliable finish like that in the tool box helps me keep calm and do things more mechanically and precise in the box as well instead of getting stressed and fluffing the shot. The combination of confidence in my finishing and an overpowered shooting style has lifted my average goals per game from somewhere between two and three to above four.
Waltzed to the final of the DK twice now. Lost the first attempt after losing my head a bit and going too gung ho, so I'm on a timeout to calm myself down before my second attempt. The idea of having to play three games all over again just to get back to where I was is worse than actually losing the game. I clearly need to work on my mentality before the WL either way.

Like you say i feel im always the better team but they'll sit back and rely on their shit hot forwards.
My team is subpar to be fair i use mainly use Begovic, Coleman, Kabelese, Reid, Konsciency, Holebas, Can, McCarthy, Sissoko, Fer/Barkley, Silmami, Remy.

Can someone explain this glitch to me? I've got tomorrow off and nothing better to do so going to get a few seasons in but don't want to if it's gonna be shite. Has the gameplay noticeably changed?
The only thing I've noticed about the game play apart from lag is that the random passes without pressing a button have stopped.
Edit: The glitch just seems like a no loss glitch. When they concede they go all out attack. Go subs menu and change 2 players. When they come on and kick off the game just disconnects.
Edit 2: seems they are trying to fix it before tomorrow's weekend league as now rewards have been given yet. Doubt they'll get it done in time though.
That random pass thing happened to me a few times, also got done over a few times with the ref blowing the halftime whistle when I was clean through.
When I first started playing I bought renato sanches for 40k now he's down to 2k but he's still one of the better players for me.

I usually always have 2 teams so I don't need to use squad fitness cards. At the moment I've only got 1 so I'm considering building a 2nd one from outside the prem.
I got IF peresic(sp?) in a sbc so if I get anymore good serie a players from these rewards I might head that way for my second team.
Google no loss glitch, its basically something that makes the game disconnect when someone goes all out attack and throws on two strikers. You get a loss they get a nulled result.
WL is gonna be a shitshow if that's still around.
Fecking EA, it takes them 4 months to fix a simple thing like the kit bug but when they do, they end up breaking the rest of the game.

Starting to hate FUT lately. Game play aside which is simply infuriating, the whole monetary side of it is really putting me off.
It's just so obvious they allocate so much of their time to improving or editing FUT because so many people spend money on it.
I stopped spending money on packs/points from FIFA 16 onwards because I just think it's an unhealthy habit and also a complete waste of money.
When I do get packs from coins earned I rarely get a player worth more than 1000 coins. They need to make the game fairer for players like me who does not get tempted into spending real money.
How on earth could I make a team which features multiple players who cost over 100k? It simply isn't attainable.
I've noticed that the older FIFAs were more generous with their packs. They should issue more Ronaldo, Messis, Bales etc because after all there is trillions of players playing the game (as seen by the constant lagging).

Play qeekend league and save up for a few weeks. Took me 3 weeks to get enough for 2 legends.

I hope ea can sort this out and also make it so we don't have to qualify again, but ea can only do what ea has done before and that is take a big steaming dump on us all so I don't expect much from them.
Yeah, you have to qualify again. It's been reset for everyone, I think.
Edit - Looks like you're fine. If you reached at least Gold 3 last weekend, you're fine. If you qualified through the daily tournament, you're also fine.
