Tell me about it mate, i had a little mark out with myself at that point.I usually wheel and deal, the majority of my team is made up of guys i got in auctions (like Malouda, Mereiles, Bruno Alves and some french fullback who's pretty good Reviellere or something).
If i get a guy who's a decent rating in a pack but just doesn't work in my system i'll flog em off (Gomez, Cassano and Luis Suarez have been my big earners), then i just buy packs with the proceeds if there's no bargain's going in the auctions.
But yeah as soon as i get 7500, i'll usually pump it into packs. As the kind of players i want now are too high rated to get with that little coin. My plan is to get someone ridiculously good and then flog him for silly coins so i can build up my squad some more. But I ain't selling Buffon any time soon, Del Piero might be on his way though.

Thats basically what I do. I really want Nani at the moment. As he is perfect for LW. also Im trying to flog Hulk (Mainly because he is ridiculously good and prob worth a bit). I stuck him and Sneijder on the list last night, shall check when I get in from work.

First off the game gave me two gold packs free which had Berba and Skrtel in them. Then once the team is decent enough I end up discarding most of the things I get in packs which gives me about another 2000 coins to help the next build up to a gold pack and so forth. With the help of a +2000 coins card I saved up for a premium gold pack which gave me Anelka and Carrick.
Do you usually buy premium packs or just normal golds?
If I have the patience then premium because they cone with three rare ones and if you don't like the rare one discarding it gets you over 600 coins. Usually though I can't be arsed to save up the extra 2500 for them so just get normal gold.
What;s the deal with online play. Nobody ever finishes a game it's gayyyyyy
Got Michael Carrick in an Ultimate Team pack yesterday. Best player I've had to far. Oddly it was the 2nd gold pack that I'd bought, as opposed to the 10-15 gold premium packs that I had bought without much luck.

how many coins are you likely to get from a game? judging by the prices of some of the players going around it would be interesting to see what kind of dedication or luck you need to get a decent team.
Everyone I've had has finished, even winning 5-0 and the guy finished the game, was fairly impressed. I think the DNF bonus is helping a lot.
I buy premium packs then sell most of the players from it for a huge profit. Got Henry in one pack was tempted to sell him but he's fit nicely into my starting XI so I've kept him. Other then that sold a few players for 10k coins usually with a rating of 80+ go for that. As for games, offline I seem to get about 300 coins per game and online due to the DNF modifier going up each game I get about 500-600 per game at the moment.
I had some twat quit on me after the final whistle in the semi final of the featured online tournament. I got the coins for the win but the win didn't register for the tournament so I had to play a 2nd semi final. Luckily I won it and won the final but still annoying.
Gold premium packs? I've had no luck at all from them, no player worth more than 2k from at least 12 packs.
I finally got 100 chemistry.

Nothing worse than spending an hour winning 5,000 coins and then getting utter shit in your Gold pack.
How do you win 5k coins an hour?
So far from tournaments the best I've seen is the 2nd legendary tournament which gives around 450 for a win per game and 1200 for winning the tournament, so 3k an hour.
I totally agree with the post, though. I get shit from the majority of mine. Spending ages to get 7500 coins only to get a rare training card that sells for 150 after hours of being on trade, or another Tony fecking Mowbray. I think I've had two players above 80 in around 20 gold packs, majority being premium. And even one of them I fecked up the trade and sold cheap
I think i'm going to go for a mix of Italian and Chelsea. If i could get Essien and Drogba i'd be sitting pretty, i'll need a shit load of coins to get that though!
Buffon has saved my arse so many times, i swear it must piss people off when he's flying round stopping nearly everything.
