Looking good! Thanks FF, will be a good experiment I reckon.

I know it's late but could I have this picture please?

Update 1: January 2015
Right, I am doing the writeups as I go. I'm about to head out to the pub for the football. I will do the rest when I get back.

Meanwhile, here's the first five...

Season 2014/15
Pre-season 2014/15

Not much to write about here. Standout performer was @Dargonk /Des Harding with 11 goals, 4 assists and 4 MoM performances in 8 appearances. At the other end of the scale, worse performer would have to be myself/Luke Reusch, making 1 app before injury curtailed preparations. Even more unlucky was @KiD MoYeS /Stefano Ó Duinn, who suffered fractured ribs and missed the first two months of the season.

January 1st, 2015

Right, halfway point of the season and the wheat is starting to get sorted from the chaff. From the top. From the top now…

@akash02 /Akash has found himself thrown immediately into first team action at Boston United, with 23 apps in the Conference North (6 goals, 5 assists, 7 MoM) and 4 apps (2 goals, 2 assists, 1 MoM) in the FA Cup. As a result of his exploits, Boston current sit in 10th after 23 games, slightly higher than their predicted finish of 13th at the start of the season. They should look to take advantage of the fact that they have no cup distractions, having been dumped out of the FA Cup by Workington 1-0 in the 3rd Qualifying Round Replay and by Stockport in the FA Trophy.

Interestingly, Akash did play a game as a Goalkeeper. I can’t tell against who it was, but he must have done alright to get an 8.40. Sign for the future perhaps?

Moving to Brummie land now and @reelworld /Rolo Cash has also found himself involved in first team action early on, having amassed 18 apps in the Conference North (6 goals, 3 assists, 4 MoM) and 6 apps in the cups (1 goal, 3 assists, 2 MoM). The evasive and volatile defensive mid has been dubbed by some in the media as the “new Nobby Stiles” and having won a few U19 caps for England to date, he would appear well on the way to following in the footsteps of the great man. Hednesford currently sit 14th in the Conference North, some 10 places below their expected finish. They were also beaten away to Halifax 1-2 in the 3rd Qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Like Akash, Rolo has also deputised in goals for Hednesford. How shit are these squads, seriously?!

@jakec / Jake Cullen, the young, oirish left-back, has started life well at Tamworth, who currently sit 4th in the Conference North. He hasn’t scored a goal yet, but has been solid in his 20 league appearances, laying on 5 assists and putting in 7 MoM performances. Naturally, of course, this has meant he’s come to the attention of the FAI, quickly garnering 6 U21 caps. In his first international he captained the side to a 2-0 win away to Belarus in the u21 EURO qualifiers. Impressive!

Spontaneous Diarrhea/ @Muffled Funk , the (not so) explosive Bosnian RB has been in sensational form for Leamington, averaging a rating of just over 8 for his 21 league apps to date. 4 goals, 6 assists and 8 MoM performances will do that for you. Diarrhea has consequently been called up to the Bosnian U21 side, earning just the one cap to date.

Leamington currently sit just outside the conference north playoffs in 7th, 5 points behind 5th placed Oxford City.

While Akash, Rolo, Cullen and Diarrhea appear to be going from strength to strength, @Stobzilla /Mark Elstob seems to be stagnating already. Either that or he’s shagged the manager’s wife and he’s being left to rot. The industrious midfielder has only managed 9 appearances in the league and 2 in the cup. It’s perfectly reasonable therefore to conclude that this has lead to Harrgate’s shitful league form. Having been predicted to finish 1st at the start of the season, Town find themselves in 15th after 23 games.

The next five on my list are:
Doctor Evil
Tom Fullery
Captain Hammer
Des Harding
Aloysius Harms

@DoctorEvil / Doctor Evil, the so-called "tenacious defensive midfielder" has played a significant role in Maidenhead’s season to date, however they sit 17th at the halfway point of the Conference South. In 17 league appearances, Evil has 2 goals, 2 assists and 2 MoM performances, with an 80% average pass completion ratio and an average of 5 tackles per game. In 4 apps in the cups, Evil has laid on 3 assists and 2 PoM performances. Despite only being 16, Evil has already won 2 U21 for Israel. Maidenhead have been knocked out of both the FA Trophy and the FA Cup, so Magpies supporters will be hoping that a focus upon the league will result in an upswing in form before long

@tom33 / Tom Fullery, the Latino with the least Latino sounding name out there has had a great start to life with Stockport. In 22 apps, the enthusiastic Costa Rican-Haitian, Wyclef Jean wannabe full-back has amassed 2 goals, 2 assists and 10 MoM performances, for an average rating of 7.94. Despite only being 16, Fullery has already made his full debut for Costa Rica, having won 3 caps so far, with the first of these coming against Martinique in October 2014. Stockport currently sit 6th, one point outside of the playoffs.

@Annihilate Now! / Captain Hammer. Ooo la la. French boy here is perhaps the biggest hot head of the lot so far, having been sent off five times in 10 league appearances. At the time of writing, he is still serving a 4 match ban for all competitions. Someone must have pissed on his baguette. Hammer has just the 1 U21 cap for France, coming in a 5-1 demolition of the Faroes. The fact that he’s not featured since is probably a good thing in fairness.

@Dargonk / Des Harding. If one word can sum up his season to date; wow. The lithe Dutch striker/winger has been in amazing for Barrow this season, knocking in 22 goals in 20 apps to top the goal scoring charts, in the process catapulting Barrow to 1st. Standout performance would have to be in the first game this season, when he bent Boston over and scored 4 in a 5-0 demolition. This was then followed up with a hattrick against Gainsborough in a 3-0 win. Barrow made it to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup, but were knocked out 1-0 by MK Dons. In the FA Trophy, Barrow got to the 3rd qualifying round, but were knocked out by Stalybridge in a replay after a 3-3 draw at Bower Fold.

@harms / Aloysius Harms has found a rough start to his career, amassing only 5 appearances to date. Harms has had a bit of an injury run, picking up first; food poisoning in pre-season and a sports hernia soon after which ruled him out for 6 weeks. No sooner had he come back, strained ankle ligaments ruled him out for a further six weeks. At the time of writing, Harms was on the way back from a case of bruised ribs. Despite this, Harms has already made his bow for Russia, albeit in the U21 team, with one cap to date.

I have 15 left to do.

Apologies if the detail isnt quite there. If you want to know more, just let me know and I'll do what I can\.

Delighted that Fullery is already a full international! And 10 man of the match awards from 22 games isn't bad either. I wonder if he'll have any suitors in the January window.

@Cina / Jimmy-Floyd Hasawank has been a busy man these past couple of months. In 17 1st XI apps for Colwyn Bay, the Irish winger has been a creative force, laying on 14 assists and scoring 6 goals himself, earning 8 MoM’s in the process. For his efforts, he has earned 3 U21 callups to the Irish U21s…I don’t think he’ll declare for Iraq at this rate.

@reelworld / Ivana Humpalot. I still giggle every time I have to searce for this name. Why, God why?! The Croatian left-back has had a bit of trouble with injuries of late. A stress fracture at the start of the season ruled him out for two months. Consequently, Ivana has only started 5 games in the league, coming off the bench once for 1 assists and 1 MoM. Oxford currently occupy 5th in the conference north, having been knocked out of both cups.

@MJJ / Jonaldo. “Dave” has had a solid, if unspectacular start to his North Ferriby career. Playing mainly as a striker, the young Pakistani-Argentinian has scored 6 goals and garnered 2 MoM awards. It will probably be a tough slog for North Ferriby from here on in, who currently sit 20th in the Conference North.

@Speak / Gareth Ledley is the second-top scorer of the conference north, having slotted 16 goals in 21 appearances for Bradford PA who currently sit second, 4 points behind Barrow. The young striker has also won a handful of U19 caps for England and will surely look to press on in the second half of the season.

@Laidback Levo / Daniel Leverton, the English U19 international has been in sparkling form for Whitehawk, leading the Conference South goalscoring charts. Whitehawk currently sit 8th, with there being 4 points separating 5th placed Havant & Waterlooville from 10th placed Bishops Stortford, a real logjam that could make the run in all the more interesting.

@x42bn6 / Emile Messi, the hot-headed Sammarinese centre-back has contributed to Boreham Wood’s strong showing in the Conference South, who currently sit second, trailing 1st place Ebbsfleet by two points. Best performance to date would have to be scoring a brace at home to Gosport in about 12 minutes, his only goals to date in 10 league apps. Despite this, the young colossus perhaps has a significant attitude problem, having amassed 5 red cards to date. He’ll need to sort that out soon, as Boreham Wood has gone on a bit of a run in the FA Trophy, having progressed to the 2nd rounder proper where they will play Chester.

@KiD MoYeS Stefano O Duinn…has not had a good start at Stalybridge Celtic, the young Irish-Italian shot-stopper’s pre-season injury has undoubtedly affected his form; O Duinn has let in 14 goals in 11 appearances, only keeping 2 clean sheets in the process. As a result, Celtic currently sit 21st in the table.

@Krovv / Crow Pooper. The lumbering Indian stopper has had a great season for Kidderminster in the Conference Premier, averaging 8.18 in 16 appearances, scoring 4 goals, 3 assists and 7 MoM awards to date. As a result of his efforts, Kidderminster currently sit second, one point behind Gateshead. A second round FA Trophy clash against Wrexham awaits them later this month.

@Damien / Brian Potter, the enigmatic Spanish enganche (I don’t know if this is true, I’m just talking smack) has made a solid start with Chorley, despite playing 26 games in an unfamiliar, deeper central midfield role. Despite this, the young maestro has managed to lay on 7 assist and score three goals, garnering 4 MoM awards in the process. Chorley are slightly underperforming in the league, currently sitting 19th, slightly down from a pre-season prediction of 16th. They’ll have nothing else to distract them though, having been knocked out of both cups early.
