He delayed setting of on his last run in the pit lane so as Hamilton couldn't get round in time to put a final lap in. Alonso then went on to grab pole of him without Hamilton being able to respond.

Alonso was in the pits with Hamilton waiting behind him to have his tryres changed going into the dying minutes of Q3. The lolipop was lifted for Alonso to go and the mechanics were waving their hands at him to go (apparently mechanics were screaming at him on the radio to go as well). He didn't go, he waited for at least 10 seconds before going. He then got around in time to make one last lap but because of the delay Hamilton didn't. Alonso then went fastest (taking pole away from Hamilton).
I was watching and just said 'Oh my God'. Very unprofessional. I hope he gets a right bollocking off ron dennis.

Anyway the FIA changed the rules to stop teammates doing each other favours, a la Heikinnen's and Coulthard's 'gentleman's agreement' at Australia a few years back.
