Fergie Transfer U-Turn

It'll be Diarra or Henderson, probably both.

Is everyone just ignoring the bit where he says "I don’t see it happening really"?

Shut up.

Lass Diarra is very much still part of Mourinho's plans. He's started ahead of Khedira plenty of times, I very mouch doubt they'd let him go this transfer window.

I'd love for it to be Sanchez. Granted Eden Hazard hasn't suddenly become a United fan over night...

Anything that keeps him away from OT! Don't want Lass or Henderson.

I can only see us signing someone if it's a youngster that's not really expected to make any kind of impact this season because we're pretty well stocked. I know most reckon we need a midfield player but with Anderson coming into form i'm not sure we do. Not this season anyway.

Unless it's a youngster that won't mind a fair bit of bench time that is.

He's turned full circle .

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out any prospect of adding to his squad during this month's transfer window.

The United boss had been considering his options, knowing his side have moved top of the Premier League despite rarely hitting top form.

United do have two matches in hand on nearest rivals Manchester City, the first of which will be played at Blackpool on Tuesday.

But with City hitting a rich vein of form, Arsenal looking less vulnerable that before and Chelsea starting to put a sequence of wins together, Ferguson understandably checked the strength of the players at his disposal.

However, Ferguson, who has repeatedly stated there is "no value" in the market, has opted not to make a move, in the knowledge long-term injury victim Antonio Valencia will return from an ankle injury at the end of next month.

"I won't be going into the transfer market during the present mid-winter window," Ferguson told United Review.

"I thought at one time that I would like to bring in just one player, but that has not worked out.

"I don't feel that it is necessary to buy just for the sake of it because, as I say, I am more than happy with my squad."

Wonder who he had in mind.
