Well sure, but no honest account of Black Caps history isn't depressing. Sure we're always in the top 10 in the world, but that only sounds good before you find out how many nations actually play cricket and take it seriously :(
 
Lewis Hamilton, for me. Supremely talented, but always emotional and a little bit flawed. People seem to dislike him because he drives whilst angry, but that's the same reason I used to love Roy Keane so much.
 
Wayne Rainey.

The guy was an incredible rider.
 
Sir Steven Redgrave gets this for me - an unparalleled achievement in my eyes (Gold Medal at 5 successive Olympics), especially in such a physically demanding event.
A true sporting inspiration.
 
Federer is a really likeable guy, and a genius nonetheless. I can't think of any other athlete that performs better under pressure. Besides football, nothing in the world of sports is better than seeing Federer make a comeback when he has his back against the wall.
 
Rafa Nadal. Also Lance Armstrong who has been getting a lot of negative press over the last few years which is unjust. Lance Armstrong should be applauded for being able to ride a bike so well on drugs. I tried it once. Hit a dog and fell into a ditch.

:lol: I was joking when I said he doesn't deserve negative press but that is true about many of the cyclists cheating. The reason he got the most attention was because he won and he was the most famous.
 
Uriah Hall, a true gentlemen and a killer. Won his last UFC fight with a broken foot, his bone was sticking out of his toe.
