FAO Tottenham Hotspur | Fighting Cock Goes Into Meltdown | Glast...gone

At least they'll always be the October Premier League Champions.

Bottled it against one of the worst Wolves sides I've seen

Let's see how you would cope with a Saliba (Van de Ven) and Odegaard (Maddison) out until January before taking cheap shots
Well didn't we see it last season when Just Saliba was out all Gooners could come up with is things could have been had he been not injured in run in .

No matter how much people think it's the managers who are the difference maker it's always been the players and always will be , I think team with good players with competent manager would always have the edge over Team with great manager and lesser players when it comes to league format .

That's football. You can be top of the league, flavour of the month one minute. And the next, 5 major injuries and suspensions, 2 defeats and serious allegations against you.

I need this added to that scene from the Simpsons where Krusty is showing Bart out after his gimmick flops

They were better off spending the Brennan Johnson money on an actual striker rather than on Brennan Johnson who's utter wank.

I have to admit Expressions is very funny on YouTube. His banter with AFTV is hilarious. He called Troops "Dominic No-Lanky"

Pretty sure it was him who first called Mudryk ‘Ukraine Bolt’. He’s very quick with it.

Scraped past Burnley at home in the cup.

Not seeing the swashbuckling best football in the league TM I’ve been promised.

What’s going on?

Don’t think it’s possible to do it every single game. Plus they’ve had a lot of injuries. Only we’ve had more I think.

Well, their defence consists of 4 full backs currently

A good coach should be able to improve what he has.

He’s also choosing to play them over other CBs or young players.

Isn't their only recognised CB after Romero and VDV Eric Dier?

I can understand why he is choosing not to play Dier, the recovery speed of a steam roller.

They looked shit tonight. Which is what I was posting about.

Early round of the FA Cup, it happens. You can't play the same way for each game. They're actually one of the in-form teams in the league at the moment

I didn’t say this famous playing style and philosophy this evening that’s for sure.

They've scored in every game they've played this season. Only one other team (Chelsea under Ancelotti) have done better.

They should go for the cup but I know they'll bottle it.

They can show great fight in the league where losing isn't the end but can they do it when the kangaroo steaks are higher, or will they be put on a spit like a gyro?

Do they not have any young players?

No idea. You would think they would a couple of young up and coming CB's who could play though. Although with Postecoglu it seems he will not change his style under any circumstances, so the CB's would be expected to stand on the halfway line, have the recovery speed to get back, and be comfortable playing out from the back under an aggressive press.

If the academy can’t produce a single CB capable of stepping in then you have to start asking the question as to its purpose I guess.

Understand the point about him being stubborn in his principles though.

As I say they looked shit tonight. Won by a pot shot from Porro. Lucky Burnley didn’t get one.

Yeah, but what does one game mean? Seems odd to pick on them tonight when they're currently in good form

Didnt watch the game but the stats are all Spurs, 16 shots to 10, 63% to 37% possession, 8 to 3 the corners. Did Burnley miss a sitter or something?

I don't even recognise some of these Spurs players, Donley and Scarlett? Assuming academy players. I thought Sessegnon moved on ages ago? Wasn't Gil sent out on loan?
