The season is not over yet. Why can't you wait till the season is over. Finding it hard to keep your mouth shut for one more month? One more month is all you had to wait for!

He's cursed it

You are cursed now.....premature gloating will ruin it for you

If it doesn't happen by some strange shift of fate....you will know who is responsible

I curse you too.....all of you.....all you Man Utd fans

Cursed you are cursed.....with todays full moon.....you are all doomed

No doubt about Arsenal's penalty.

Eboue was being Eboue. I'd be upset at the player rather than the referee if I was an Arsenal fan. Admittedly a soft penalty, but still a penalty.
Eboue was brainless and shouldn't have given the ref any chance to give a pen but it wasn't a penalty.

I wasn't convinced by either of the penalties myself. Fabregas flung himself to the ground whilst wrapping his legs round the defender, and Lucas just flopped onto the floor when he felt Eboue touch him from behind.

Both were and are always going to be given though. The first, although the arsenal player may not have gotten the ball, was still a foul; Fabregas' trailing leg did play a part. And the second, you don't put your hand flat onto the back of a player in the peno area like Eboue did, because if you do and the player falls, it's a penalty.

I thought, well, until I saw this thread anyway.

Eboue then mounted him. What if Lucas wanted to get up?!

Both were fouls, this is ridiculous. We should be praising the referee for not buckling on either clumsy, brainless challenge.

Lucas ran in front of Eboue in order to manufacture the contact - no one who's played football is giving that as a pen.

As nailed on as you're gonna get - Spearing took his leg away as he turned inside him. I don't think they even argued about it.

I thought both were penalties. Amazing end to a nervy game for us United fans. I wish you could bottle that feeling we all experienced when it all went tits up for Arsenal.

Tell you what, the Arsenal players could bottle it for us.

They were both soft. The contact wasn't sufficient to send either of them to the ground unless they chose to.

Two cracking penos though. Both right in the side netting.

Rather than whinge about Liverpools penalty id have thought Arsenal fans would be better off questioning why, at home with a near enough full strength team they couldnt beat a Liverpool side which included the likes of Spearing/Robinson/Flannagan and Jonjo Shelvey? surely thats the crux of the problem here? you couldnt beat a Liverpool side missing half its players and a back line including 2 teens and a reserve CB....

Well you can't beat Wolves (or City).

That's because they're a mid table side losing a game a few days after they won one. You lot would be arguing if Eboue had stabbed Lucas.

Shite, maybe you're right

I would give the odds as follows

Carling Cup - 95%
Premiership - 60%
FA Cup - 33.33%
CL - 10%

Meaning a 2% chance or 50/1 against

The bookies will probably only offer 33/1

There were quite a few that would cheerfully have stabbed Eboue.

When Djourou booted Spearing in the area was as clear a penalty as you will ever see.
You're as consistently rubbish on this stuff as a blindman or a yank. You sound as if you've a) never played the game and b) never read the rules.

I did play and understand the rules, since I was a defender I know that you can't hack down someone running into the box, no matter how much it looks like a rabid Pittbull.

Not worth resorting to reason here

Most Man Utd fans on this forum have never played football being the product of the clinically obese state school system and over 90% have never been to a football match let alone OT

Pearls before swine mate......pearls before swine

The only other option is that you're completely stupid. We'll have to go with that.

Funny that he was quoting me then eh, a decent fullback who has a season ticket and is more likely to be described as underweight than overweight.

Has there been a game this season where Arsenal have dropped points and the ref hasn't been to blame?

Just your usual post-March collapse. Same again next year lads.

feck me. I would infract you for that if it weren't so embarrassing. You really are shit at this whole trolling thing, aren't you? At least pete has a bit of decorum to his attempted wind ups, but that's just cringe inviting.

Anoter shit thread. This forum is getting weird.

We could ask Noodles to edit his posts. Last time it had him tears...

chuckle.

I would have thought you'd stay away from numbers and estimates tbh...
