WTF are you on about

I try again:

Nesta= Mozart
All the defenders left in the world= Salieri</strong><hr></blockquote>

No problem with the language, and I know Mozart is the dog from that movie,
But who's that sellery guy?

True world class players don't come around frequently: I had the chance to witness one, raised in my neighbor. Can you say the same about yourself?

I can't no. So what? For all I know you've been shortsighted all your life and being from Italy there's a good chance that you were too poor to afford spectacles and it was Materazzi you were watching from the sides with your bag of crisps that you would munch on day after day which helped you pile on the kilos, your friends realising as you chomped away, that you would never join in with the game other than as a goalpost.

Anouncement:
I AM GERMAN CITIZEN. (apart from being born their though I left quite along time ago and my germna still quite poor)
But Um a citizen. Despite me black skin! :D

What you going on about kemo? Who cares if you're a kraut or not?

It was YOU Charlie who asked me that <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

Terrible thing, envy.

<strong>Wow, what a topic I've found!
By reading some of you, I wonder how many times have you REALLY watched The Minister of Defense playing...
Every person with good judgement and enough football experience declared Sandro Nesta the best defender on Earth, BY FAR! End of story. Rio is very good, a talent, but he can only be Nesta's personal shoe-shiner. And I am not saying this because I am a Lazio fan, since our captain is about to be sold to Inter. My heart aches, but having had the privelege to watch and cheer the best player on Earth "pound for pound", eases the pain. "Oh Captain, my Captain...", thanks for all the triumphs, for every sigle day at Lazio, since that distant sunday in 1994.

eh... :( :( :(
He's still a Lazio player now...

Raoul, it's good to see you are laughing...it means that the new therapy your shrink is giving you is paying off.. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Damn, everytime i am blue, I only need to open this forum and start laughing!
Another masterpiece? The thread on the news about the SerieA and B sides still not included in the next season: I was sure you were going to avoid writing ass roma and the other clubs...
It's incredible how shite is journalism in UK!
Anyway, how does it feel to be so pathetic, man?
Or maybe you daddy works for the Sun? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Yes..Italian journalism is much better....particularly as it relates to transfers and accurate quoting. ;)

What's your opinion on Torino, Venezia, Verona, Brescia, Lecce, Piacenza and Udinese Piersifal?

Are they great teams? Do they make your Serie A great? Would United shit themselves if we had to play them twice during the course of a season?

Raoul, you're banging your head against a brick wall. If we had signed Nesta, you would be prefering him instead of Rio right now.

Before all this transfer speculation about Ferdinand came up, I had never once seen a post from you praising him, and now he's the best CB in the world? Hmmm <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

I was Rio's biggest critic when Leeds signed him. I didn't think he was worth that type of money, but he's slowly changed my mind over the past 12 months. I never mentioned him as a Red because there was absolutely no transfer speculation linking him to us until the WC, at which point it became a feasible proposition. Before that, if you would've told me that the Sheep would sell us their best defender I wouldn't have believed you.

I don't think I've ever said anything positive about Nesta.

Dans, you only need to check european classments and league strenght in the 90's, which UEFA uses to determine the number of teams in the european cups, to find out the different calue of the two Leagues. I am not saying that Serie A is BETTER than Premiership on 100% scale, on the contrary I prefer watching matches from UK, because SerieA has become too tactical and rough. But Serie A is definitely more diffficult to play, because of the overall level of teams. Premiership is more fun to watch, from an aesthetic point of view, imho. Especially when Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal are playing.

Yes..Serie-A is too tactical and rough, whilst Premiership players feign injuries for crumpet breaks. ;)

That's an easy one:
A) you seem more and more a bandwagoner
B) you don't have a clue about defensive players level

think you mean Rio Speedwagon ;)

<hr></blockquote>

that period was really fortunate - or you'd have been the first guy to use the words 'Liverpool', 'aesthetic point of view' and 'fun to watch' in the same sentence...
