i don't have much time now, but i promise i'll come back and answer the questions some of you have asked.

blythy, i don't mind the "crying game" practical joke. it's all good. thanx for still trying to instill some humour into all this.

i never like taking the piss out of people (and i have never done so in my time in the forum, i only respond when someone takes the piss out of me first), and so that's why i don't like it when i get abused for no good reason.

i have a good sense of hunour, just not based on at the expense of other people.. maybe that's something i will have to work at to get along.

well, im not that sure about Thailand. But i'm from singapore, South East Asia. i don't think liberation in the East is the matter of concern here . It's more of taking it with a pinch of salt.

Unless one has hardly nothing to worry about, and that tag under the nickname does affect his life that much.. ;)

the problem mainly is the credibility that i'd get from other posters..

as i mentioned before. i took off because of that.

but since Blythy has no intention of helping me with the situtation i guess i can't do much about it but keep complaining.

you're right.. it's not about the fact that i'm in thailand. this is a personal matter.

it's not about the 'east' or being in 'thailand' or 'losing face'.

it's a personal thing for me. as i mentioned before. i don't take a piss out of other people and that's why i don't like it when people do it to me..

i've been harmless in my time here and i wanted respect for it.

but since many of you don't give it to me then i'll probably have to adapt to it.

I can understand how you felt. but this is an internet forum and FFS you should know that!

I've been to Thailand about 5 times! It's a top place, and there are loads of United fans there. I met one guy who couldn't speak a word of English but could name the 98-99 season starting line up!

Stay away from the Soi Cowboy and Patpong though, you want do yourself any favours down there - unless you are a ladyboy that is :eek: <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

i've never been in Soi Cowboy - altho it's pretty much like Patpong and is right smack in the center of the city.

Patpong is actually a very popular hang out place for international students. There's a street next to the main patpong area where it's filled with clubs and stuff. you could find a lot of underage foreign kids drinking and partying in there.

and you don't need to be a ladyboy to go to patpong man, it's filled with strip clubs! i don't go there mainly because it's aimed at tourists so everything there is basically over-priced (because it's cheap for tourists once they convert their money). Filling that street are also what give Thailand a bad name - the prostitutes.
