I agree with Livvie. I think the problem here is that he's not English and he doesn't understand the humour. I think he's been trying to go with the humour...probably without really understanding it...but he has been trying.

Okay, he may be a bit sensitive but it's a shame it's gotten to the point where he feels like he has to quit the forum.

I read sometimes ago that someone said the cafe is dying, because there are too many people slagging our players. But he was wrong. The cafe is formed by fans, not players. The day the cafe really starts to die, is the day when the fans who want to give honest opinion about the team are being slagged and are forced to leave.

blythy, why not change back RUnited's member status to what it has been? Is it really so difficult for you to do that?

But in Thailand is that kind of label viewed a lot differently to the way it is here? I think it might be seen as a bit more of an insult as I doubt they are as liberated as the west in that respect.

I mean if paedophilia was acceptable in some far corner of the world and someone called one of you lot a paedophile, you wouldn't laugh about it.

i only took off because you changed my status to something quite insulting. i have been at it with Dans for a long time but i never left did i?

how do you make a point when your status says you're a "chickboy" or "emotional"

it's easy for you to say, you're a MOD.

Dans is know to be a Hans - and no one takes him seriously.

i still need my credibility to survive in a place like this. Afterall, i'm not among the elite poster status like you, Dans, Davo, Weaste, Livvie, giggzy, or Neil, etc.

i'm still abused by you lot day in day out.

as i said, humour away, just don't change my status again.. it's something i cannot fight for.

i look up to many of you and that's why i've changed my attitude because i don't think i know as much as many of you.

what's the point arguing about something i don't really know about?

i'm all the way here in Bangkok - i don't even have accurate sources for a start. i don't go to games.

i only have the TV, internet and this forum to rely on. i didn't want that previledge taken away.

and for those of you who said i changed my attitude. i didn't. i only complained about SAF and the tactic. that has been changed and we're on a scoring spree. so to some extent i was right.

i never slag a single player in my 1200 something posts. you can look it up. dig all you want but you'll never find it.

i'm a Red at heart. and i'll always be one.

Just to clarify some things:
1) Are you male or female or other?
2) How old are you?
3) Are you religious?
4) Its not about being taken seriously, its the complete opposite - its about having a laugh for most of us.
5) You're right about only criticising the tactics, and right that they have been changed and its produced a run of wins (along with the new found desire as a response to the humiliating derby defeat).

I know in the East there is the concept of 'face' and losing face, which is one we don't have over here in the same way, as you may have noticed we all take the piss out of each other - not just of you. Don't take it to heart, just give a bit back.

We take Dans seriously when he has something serious to say. He’s had spunk monkey in Italian for ages as his status and he still gets his point across (when he has a point of course). Chill man – taking the mick is part of being on the caf. You should give as good as you get instead of blowing up and storming off.

RU they are only winding you up because they can......you seem very serious about your views & I suspect you feel its very important 2b given some recognition.....there are 2 ways to achieve this that I've noticed:
1) Make your points clearly & be prepared to back them up.....you have done this & many have commented that you have improved your position with your posting.

2) develope a sense of humour & learn to give as good as you get....you were doing well here & Dans especially got some of his own...btw you might re evaluate you view of Dans he is not a bad guy...if anything he has an acute version of the British (German?)humour that seems to be ruffling your feathers.

& whatever you do don't go off in a huff! If you had not come back you would have lost all credibility...as it is you are probably going to have to work hard to live down your threat to go...
